1989 Camaro Real Iroc Z car. I bought a new car and now I have to sell off my old ones. This car does run and drive but was converted over to a carb motor so it has a holley 600 carb on the motor. If you want to put it back stock with the tpi I have everything to do that and will include it in the sale. Interior of the car is great it all works No rips in the seats and dash pad is even in great shape with no huge cracks in it even in the florida sun. The outside of this car is straight but there is some typical fbody rust areas I noticed it on the pillars common area a little on the hood and the rear hatch has some all typical and easy fixes nothing major no big holes or anything crazy. Car could be a great daily driver car and the price I'm asking is a steal for a REAL IROC in this condition. I am selling a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro with an internally balanced 383 Stroker motor. Mechanically, everything works great. The 700R4 transmission has just been rebuilt two weeks ago to handle the extra power. Structural members such as subframe connectors etc. have been installed for added rigidity. The only mechanic problem with the car is that the brake system needs a vacuum reservoir installed to increase vacuum for the brake booster. Car stops fine but can be a lot better. It also has a brand new radiator to keep everything nice and cool. I put the cowl induction hood on to compensate for the high rise intake. I have the stock hood to go with the car when sold. The tires don't have much wear at all on the treads and still have that new look. Overall the paint on the car is in incredible shape except for a couple spots. There are some areas of clear coat bubble hat can easily be touched up. The top is also in very good shape besides the passenger side corner which I have included a photograph of. Interior is completely original and in great shape. Overall this car has been well taken care of and turns heads just by the deep rumble of the engine loping.

All stock except for the front speakers which i replaced to due age, and a hypertech chip so the car runs cool because if you all remember these cars ran VERY HOT. A/C was retro fitted to R134a and blows ice cold and radio was reburbished by a professional. The car is turn key ready and needs NOTHING. You will not find another IROC like this ANYWHERE. The automatic transmission was professionally converted to a 5 speed (T5) manual trans. The motor and trans have roughly 40K miles on them. Recently install was a magnaflow exhaust system which sounds great The body is straight with no rust. Paint is in ok condition. It will shine when washed but it could use a respray. There's a small crack on the rear spoiler that can be easily fixed by a body guy. Interior is in good condition. Small tear on the drivers seat. The current Tach doesn't work bc the new motor turns more RPMs then the factory 305. This camaro is reliable enough to be driven everyday or the perfect start to a race car

Up for sale is my 1986 IROC-Z Camaro. I purchased the car from my neighbor. It was part of his small Camaro collection and one that he used for car shows until he purchased his 4th and 5th generation Camaros. The car still looks like a show car and I get compliments on it wherever I go. I recently spent a few thousand dollars "restoring" the car. It is in excellent mechanical condition. It runs perfect and has zero leaks. Some of the parts that were replaced are the brake calipers and pads, thermostat, fuel filter, plug wires, cap & rotor, ball joints, heater core, belts, trans filter, etc. I also added a brand new Flowmaster exhaust system which sounds perfect. I had the rear end changed to a 3:73 and also have the original 3:23 in case the next owner is concerned about the car being all original. Every power option works as it should. The power hatch release is in perfect working condition. The hood shocks are brand new. The steering wheel is in excellent condition. Car still has the factory radio. My neighbor had the car repainted when he first bought it and the paint looks incredible. I tried to take as clear as possible pictures of the car to show just how nice it is. The only imperfection on the exterior is a scratch that was poorly fixed on the top of the passenger door. That's it. There are no dings or dents anywhere on the exterior of the car. The inside of the car is also in excellent condition. No rips, tears or holes in any of the fabric. Factory steering wheel is in excellent condition. T-top bag is also included. Dash is in perfect condition. I truly believe this is the nicest car on Ebay for under 10k. The only reason I'm selling is because I have a couple other Camaros and am running out of room due to my growing family. I have a laminated window sticker for the car also. Bright Blue with Gray interior. As many know, 87 is the first year for the 5.7 Liter in the 3rd Gen and is considered by some as the best year for the IROC. They really went all out in 87 on these cars. 1987 is also the first year to use the Hydraulic Roller Cam in the TPI motor too, combined on the 5.7 this really gave the 87 year a huge increase from the previous years and almost went to the near supercar level of that era.. in just a Camaro. To me all IROCs of all years are great when optioned right so its all good. Having the larger 5.7 also gave the car upgrades that are very sought after today like the G80/G92 Borg Warner 3:27 Diff with J65 disk brakes, KC4 engine oil cooler and many other performance upgrades that put these cars on the map as a very capable muscle car in its day. Everyone today knows what an "IROC" is, so the car made its mark in history one way or the other. We know as car guys, the name IROC represents International Race of Champions, but just talking to some non car people, I have heard some actually say its because the car "rocked"..... Silly as that sounds, that factor may have played into many non car people remembering the name IROC today more than others... but it is what it is, and the IROC has come into its own as a collector today. This car here is also a 1SC car with the Group 3 interior options that gave it every available power option the car could get including power antenna, auto dimming mirror, overhead console and more. This car also has the AR9 option that is the two tone piping custom seats with the embroidered "Camaro" in them.
