This is an exceptional vehicle. 1978 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham riding on adjustable airbags. I tried to get pictures of it raised and lowered for comparison. This Cadillac only has 66,952 original miles. How do I know? Because this vehicle comes with every piece of documentation since new, to include its original window sticker. It's been garage kept its whole life, which is how the vinyl top and interior have remained in perfect, flawless condition. It has the original Cadillac 425 cubic inch engine that fires right up without hesitation. 4-barrel carburetor, posi rear end, super coils and independently adjustable front and rear air bags make up some of the vehicles performance. The airbags are powered by 2 compressors and have 2 air tanks installed by “Quiet to Riot Customs”. They are controlled on the console. You can raise and lower the car while driving down the road. This car will go so low that it will rest on the ground. The only significant rust on this virtually rust free car is the rear bumper. There is some minor random oxidation here and there, but it’s surface and not invasive. Floorboards and frame are solid. It has a new gas tank and sending unit, so everything gas touches is clean. I regretfully need to sell because I have some home repairs that take priority. But if I were to keep this car, I would change the following things. The white walls are painted on. I’d get real white walls, but these tires are practically new and hardly show wear so I couldn’t really justify it yet. Paint has some blemishes here and there. Couple scrapes and a ding. This car is a touch up paint job away from being a genuine show car. Quiet to Riot customs ends the exhaust just past the catalytic converter. Gives it a great note, but a bit too loud for my taste. I’d run the exhaust past the rear axle. Interior is in mint condition with the exception of the drivers door where the window controls are is cracked. Also there’s some cracking on the speedometer. Headliner is flawless as well as the seats carpet and dashboard. This vehicle still has the original floor mats and first aid kit that came with the car! This car came with a factory GM OEM CB radio that still works. The original FCC permit is included in all the documents. There’s a small chip in the windshield. I tried getting a picture but it just wasn’t showing up. I’d also replace the oil pan gasket at the next oil change. I noticed some seeping at the gasket when I was looking over it before listing it. I’m trying to disclose every little potential flaw, but this car really is a gem and it’s a fun reliable driver. Get in and go for a cruise, or just stand back and look at it. Either way, it’s a good time. Mileage may slightly change because I occasionally take it out on a nice day to keep the blood moving in it. Feel free to ask any questions or for more pictures. Mild camshaft upgrade to the Chevrolet 5.7l engine, cat-delete/free-flowing exhaust, cylinder heads, Holley carb, HEI, VP4 mechanical clutch fan/shroud upgrade. No longer on computer. Runs smooth. Engine compartment still looks, and exhaust sounds, nearly stock. 700r4 transmission with overdrive, A/C blows cold. Frame and floors solid. Factory aluminum rims. Tires about half-life. No rips in factory top (color matches interior,) leather seats, or dash. Original clearcoat is still bright. This car cost over $40k new. A few flaws--needs a rear bumper from a rust hole. One panel in the interior needs replacement. One rear window and door need help opening. Traction control light is on. The usual minor imperfections for a 20+ year old vehicle, but overall in very nice, presentable condition. Was garaged until a few years ago, and has mostly sat in the driveway because of too many projects. This one is finished and can be driven anywhere. I'm selling this well below its value because the back of the original Massachusetts title is completely filled out (I'm the last buyer) with no room for reassignment. Best original 80 to 85 Fleetwood Brougham Coupe I have seen yet. This Fleetwood Coupe wears its original paint, original fillers, and original headliner; all are in excellent condition. Special ordered car when new. Obviously has the rare astroroof of course. Even rarer is the Heavy Duty Ride package. This package makes the car ride and steer much better without a penalty in ride, heck the ride is even better in fact. I guess the name of the package scared the mental midgets who ordered the cars for the dealers back in the day. That wouldn't have taken too much. Standard factory hubcaps are what this car came with, but I do have an excellent set of Fleetwood wire hubcaps should anyone want the me too look.
