Over 12k invested.This car has been restored from ground up. Have a stack of receipts that shows all the work in detail. It is a definite eye catcher. Motor is all updated 30 over pistons, new turbo, 60# injectors, LT1 mass air flow, all chrome cold air intake, Scanmaster, all wiring is new,over 3k in new wheels and tires, under coat, Electric fuel pump, all new paint, new carpet, 34,xxx miles on car. Complete head turner young to old! I have owned this car for 5 years with pride! The mileage, CLEAN underbody, paint, tires, and all original paperwork in frames, make this a true rare combo for GN Enthusiasts. PROS beautiful 8750 original miles - garage kept - 1 OF THE CLEANEST ORIGINAL UNDER BODY YOU WILL EVER SEE. Dealer undercoated upon delivery verified on paperwork. original paint - Gorgeous original tires and rims unmolested interior no rust g80 rear hardtop instrumentation cluster all works all original paperwork, including window sticker, sales sheets, odometer reading, warranty's, manuals, everything only modifications are chip, regulator, mufflers, egr block off, boost controller actuator, upgraded heater core, R134, brake accumulator ball HAVE ALL ORIGINAL PARTS except original muffler and heater core. To make it 100% near new Condition would be as follows..... original radio needs NTE232 transistor replaced 49 cents- clock light wouldn't go off so I disconnected wire so it doesn't drain battery. power antenna clip broken so it wont cycle up or down. quarter size imperfection in clear coat on rear spoiler. head liner has sag areas. rear main seal leaks from sitting in garage and infrequent use. I have been quoted roughly $500 for this repair as it has been told to me it is a quick seal replacement unlike most vehicles as you just have to drop oil pan and NOT remove transmission. Rear original bumper filler has cracked piece directly under fuel cap. Every GN did this and mine was no exception. Fronts are mint condition and have the beautiful fade to them to indicate OEM. If you are serious I strongly encourage you to come look. This is the 1 worth having since its super clean underside, original paint and tires, and with all original paperwork. Sink a few bucks into her and you have a near new specimen. Car is insured through American Collectors Insurance for $35000 at a rate of $248 a year. Re-read this entire listing again to fully appreciate what this car offers. This is a very good deal. You will have a rock solid foundation of a fine specimen Grand National to just fix a few quirks and have a 100% Gem. You will never view an undercarriage like this GN has and it hasn't been touched up with crap from autozone. Pictures are from a couple years ago and car looks exactly the same head to toe minus the cracked rear bumperfiller right under the gas cap/license plate. PRICE IS $26.5k FIRM. This is a running and driving 1982 Grand National. It is in need of a restoration or drive it the way it is. Rear frame rails are solid. Has some rust here and there. Tires are new but dry rotted. I have not owned this car long and don't know much about it. It runs and drives nice and shifts good. It has a clean title in my name and just rolled over 100,000 miles. Both power windows work. wipers do not work. In 1982, the Regal Grand National debuted, which was named for the NASCAR Winston Cup Grand National Series. These 1982 cars were not painted black, which may confuse those not familiar with them. All started out as charcoal gray Regals that were shipped off to a subcontractor for finishing. Originally intended for a run of 100 units, Cars and Concepts of Brighton, Michigan, retrofitted 215 Regals with the GN package. Most obvious was the light silver gray firemist paint added to each side. Red pinstripes and billboard shadow lettering proclaiming "BUICK" were applied. The wheel opening moldings and rocker panel moldings were blacked out using black vinyl tape. Finally, a front air dam and rear spoiler were installed. On the inside, special "Lear-Siegler" seats were installed. These seats are fully adjustable and were covered with silver brandon cloth with black vinyl inserts. The front seat had Buick's "6" emblem embroidered onto them. To finish it off, a special clock delete plate was added to the instrument panel which contained the yellow and orange "6" logo and the words "GRAND NATIONAL BUICK MOTOR DIVISION.")

For sale is a 1984 Buick Regal Grand National. I have owned this car for the past 6 years, since May 2009. I purchased this car out of Phoenix, AZ with 85k miles. The car currently has 97k miles, that works out to 2k miles per year since my ownership. This car has been a California/Arizona car most of it's life so there is NO RUST on this car. I had this car 22 months garaged in North Carolina while I was living there. I have had this car garaged in Texas since I moved here earlier this year. Car is currently running 23lbs of Boost on pump E85 Fuel. You can run 93 octane by swapping the chips in the computer but will need to lower boost to 17-18lbs. Paint is original Lacquer paint that has chips and scratches but still polishes up well. Front speaker tray is cracked. Small tears at the top of the rear seats. A bit of wear on Steering Wheel. All cosmetic. The Engine/Transmission was built by Nick Micale from ArizonaGN on March 2013. I have put 2,800 miles on the car since the build. Below is the list of the build and what the car currently has. Engine was built to run consecutive mid/high 11s in the 1/4 mile. We're selling our 86 Grand National with 28,000 miles. We build a new shop car every few years to prototype our new products on, and get the bugs worked out. We built this car here at SD Concept Engineering (SDCE) to prototype new products for our AFI intake manifold line (it has the AFI CNC manifold #3 on it). We also use the car to show customers what 800+ horsepower really feels like to drive to make sure it is really what they want us to build for them. Driveshaft is Denny's 3" steel with 1350 Mark Williams joints. Rear End is Moser 9" with a spool, 3.55 gears, and 35 spline axles. INTERIOR Custom gauge/switch panel mounted at front of center console. Oil pressure gauge and Coolant temp gauge work, exhaust temperature gauge was just used to fill the extra hole. Switch panel has a kill switch for the engine/ignition, a switch for data logging, line lock, and to turn up the electronic boost controller. Hurst Pro-Matic shifter Seats are all stock and in excellent condition. New carpet Doors have been converted to manual windows and locks, all wiring has been removed for weight. Windshield wipers have been removed for weight. We will include the linkage and motor with the car if someone wants to put them back in. All the wiper wiring has been removed from car and will need to be rewired. Drivers’ side has a Racequip 5 point harness stamped August 2014, passenger side has older RJS 4 point harness BODY Custom front and rear bumpers Body has a few small dings on the driver side door and trunk lid Hood has some scuffs that I wasn’t able to get a picture of with the camera We have thousands of pictures that were taken during the build of this car. Has always been stock. Unmolested Grand National with 33k miles. Factory paperwork when purchased new with all books. Every option special ordered, which was available on the rare new 3.8SFI intercooled Turbo (same car as the 1987) only less made, and comes factory with a chrome grill. Options as follows: t-tops, power seat, concert sound stereo, trunk carpet lined, power windows, power locks, power antenna, Cruise, tilt and Air conditioning. Original paint. The only few things not original are as follows: Tires, which are new, plugs, wires, oem air filter, battery and mass air. Everything else on this car is and always was right where it was when built in 1986. (No bad weather ever, undercarriage proves it) Many of these cars have been performance enhanced and put back to stock; this is not one of them! No rust ever. No dents or dings. Grand Nationals were not known for the best paint (lacquer) this car shines exceptionally well and only has two very minor touched up scratches on the passenger door. (Wound not show on pic’s) I was advised not to fix them and leave the factory paint (Keeping with the “They are only original once theory” I was only quoted $600 by a highline local facility to blend with the factory lacquer. (I’m not touching it) Flawless interior. Everything works, even the factory air conditioning!! Runs and drives down the road like it did in 1986. NOTE: I am NOT the original owner, he lives less then 2-miles from my house. I bought this car from him 2-years ago and have yet to title it in my name. 1986 Buick Grand National. Factory T-top car. Fun to drive turbo car. I have not found rust anywhere on the car. It came from down around Mississippi. The interior is in great shape, especially for a car with T-tops. I would guess it was stored inside. This car has been repainted (as have almost all of them) . GM paint was not very good in the 80s and 90s.If you have any questions please ask, and I will do my best to answer them as quickly as I can and to the best of my ability.
