2002 Ford F550 Tanker Truck, ROUGH SERVICE Propane delivery truck, 500 gallon tank. Extremely well built and reliable. Designed for the toughest roads in the toughest conditions. Comes with full set of Grade 70 tire chains built just for this truck. Comes with cargo panel sidesTruck was built to service generators on mountaintops for cellular and radio providers. Truck started as a short wheelbase 4x4 F550 with the good 7.3L V8 diesel. Motor has been upgraded with 4" exhaust, new free flowing intake and a Superchips programmer. No extreme engine mods. Has Banks boost pillar gauge and wastegate actuator. Flatbed added to Cab and Chassis, 30k gooseneck flip up ball added to flatbed, will full rail reinforcement. Transmission is the 4R100, rebuilt with stiffer clutches, valving kit, extra deep tranny pan, remote spin on filter and dedicated trans cooler with electric fan and pillar temp gauge. Axles are rear Spicer S100 with 5.38 gears and Detroit Locker and front Super Duty Dana 60, 5.38 gears and ARB air locker, new ball joints, upgraded chrome moly 35 spline axle shafts, upgraded U joints and Yukon lockout hubs. Steering system is built by PSC and uses a hydraulic ram assist, dedicated cooler with electric fan, remote reservoir, in line filter and overdrive pulley for low rpm pressure. Alternator has overdrive pulley for low rpm power and is a high output unit. Truck has heavy service front bumper with 15,000 lb Warn winch. Hydraulic system is Deweze using a Parker pump, engine driven, routed through a cooler, two seperate filter spin on filters then to bulkhead fittings on the rear bumper. Tank capacity is 10 gallons and is under the bed. there is a slight leak at the top of the tank when it is overfilled. Truck has BD Diesel jake brake engine brake with dash switchEquipped with Oasis Manufacturing electric air compressor, with retractable air hose reel and pillar pressure gauge. Compressor feeds 15 gallon rig tank and can run air tools no problem. Exterior lighting from a number of LED lights on the front and sides wired into dash switches.Backup camera with overhead display. All aftermarket wiring is powered by a large on-off toggle switch under the hood so it can be disabled for storage. Dual Optima red top batteries with marine grade plug in battery trickle charger/maintainer.All wiring is shrunk, loomed and professional. All plumbing is top notch, using braided stainless hoses. The propane tank skid is fully removable so the truck can be used as a regular F550 with the cargo sides or the gooseneck flip up ball hitch. The Hanson PA-833-B sidemount tank is mounted to the skid with one hard pad and the other three pads using spring isolators to prevent any cracking or problems in the tank pads.
