I am the 3rd owner (according to Carfax) and I purchased it in Warrenton, VA with 45,500 miles in 2005. The vehicle is currently in Woodbridge, VA and now has 80,650 miles and the car is still driven from time to time so mileage will increase. This Mustang is from the Steeda Autosports Serialized Vehicle Program and comes with exclusive Steeda engine badging, graphics, decals, and serial number plate and was modified at Steeda Autosports in Pompano Beach, FL. Car has 3 sets of keys and remote keyless entry fobs and owners manual pack. I drove the car to CT for memorial day weekend (1000+ miles round trip) and there were no issues. I got 27 mpg on the highway both ways! Thats even better than my 2000 Nissan Maxima! Normal around the town driving, it gets around 15-19 mpg depending on how much fun Im having or how bad the traffic and short the trips are, etc... city driving, :) but overall mixed driving its around 20-24 mpg. I use 93 octane gas because the Steeda timing adjuster is set for 3 degrees above factory setting for more responsive throttle and more power. If you want to use 87 octane gas, dial it back to factory setting... 2003 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series in Silver Birch Metallic Clearcoat with Light Stone Leather Very good condition overall. This icon of AMERICAN LUXURY has been extremely reliable for me and I will miss her once she has been placed into her new home. This car is safe, fast, very quiet, very comfortable, great on curves, and can get 26 MPG on the highway at 65 with the AC on. Everything is 100% stock and original, with the exception of an OnStar mirror, which also has a Motorola Bluetooth handsfree phone system built in. There is no rust underneath or above, and everything works, except for seeing a Door Ajar light when all doors are closed tight. The tires are at about 65% right now. The factory-installed rear Parktronic system (ultrasonic parking sensors in the rear bumper) works very well, and the OnStar mirror brings just enough modern high-tech into the interior without changing the stock look. The leather is soft and supple, and is in excellent condition. Compared to a Grand Marquis or Crown Vic, this car is MUCH quieter and smoother-riding. It is a lot easier to carry on a phone conversation using the Bluetooth system in this car, due to less road and wind noise. Being a 2003, this car has the same-as-2011 redesigned frame, brakes, zero offset wheels, revised suspension and aluminum engine & suspension cradle as every last generation Panther platform car, which were sold from 2003 to 2011. This is also the first year that Lincoln brought back the hood ornament - it was missing on the 1998-2002 Town Car. The Panther platform includes: Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis, and Lincoln Town Car**. These major changes for 2003 make for a HUGE improvement in ride quality, cornering and overall precision feel. A note about the so-called high mileage: these cars are legendary in the taxi and livery industry for their ability to rack up extremely high mileages relative to other brands. It is not uncommon at all for a livery operator to be looking at a used car to add to his young fleet with 300,000 miles or more. The highest-mileage example of a Panther car I have seen without major work was 589,000 miles, when the transmission finally needed to be overhauled. The only reason I am calling this Town Car as Very Good rather than Excellent Condition is that there is a series of small dents on the aluminum hood. I was told that an adult bicycle fell onto it from it's overhead perch in the garage. Also there is a small crease in the left front fender lip, and of course a couple of scratches/rub marks on the rear bumper cover. I am happy to bring the car to your mechanic for an inspection. It has had the usual Panther platform maintenance done recently - coil packs, front brakes, redesigned intake manifold, as well as an all new parking brake mechanism in the rear, etc. **Panther platform cars were made in (4) frame lengths: 1. Ford Crown Victoria & Mercury Grand Marquis, wheelbase 114.7 inches (including all station wagons) 2. Lincoln Town Car, wheelbase 117.7 inches (3 inches longer)(including this one for sale) 3. Ford Crown Victoria Long Wheelbase, wheelbase 120.7 inches (6 inches longer). This now-rare car was only sold to taxi fleets and to a lesser extent, some police departments. Most of them were sold to New York City taxi companies. As they are taken out of New York service, they are currently being bought by a company that ships them to Chicago to refurbish them, where they will have a second and third life in taxi and sometimes livery service. Unless you have spent a great deal of time in New York City, AND you knew what to look for (the obviously longer rear door glass), you have most likely never seen one of these. 4. Lincoln Town Car L, wheelbase 123.7 inches (9 inches longer than the shortest Panther platform car) In all cases, the rear doors are where you can spot the difference in length. This was all about rear seat legroom.
