These are also known as “Cross Country” wagons. Roomy and comfortable, this vehicle is equipped with the highly sought 2.4 L DOHC 5-cylinder turbo teamed with the 5-speed automatic Asin-Warner (AW55) transaxle. Topping all of this off, it is ALL WHEEL DRIVE (AWD). Don’t be confused between the V70 XC and the V70. Only the V70 XC is all-wheel-drive. This vehicle came available and we purchased it. This vehicle is VERY clean and cared for. But, of course, you expect vehicles this nice from Grove Automotive Group, Inc.! Service and Inspection Report: We brought this very clean Volvo in for service and didn’t find a lot to do. The prior owner had taken very good care of the vehicle and the paint, interior and vehicle show very well. For starters, we did an oil/filter change using the correct Volvo sealing washer on the drain plug, along with a new engine cap oil seal. Volvo makes the maintenance very inexpensive on these vehicles by specifying convention oil. While we had the oil out, we noticed that the dipstick end was a little brittle so we installed an new engine oil dipstick. We also installed a new timing belt, seals, tensioner and idler so that you know that’s done. We install new spark plugs when we do timing belts. We use Denso® brand plugs which are original equipment on most Volvos. Moving along to the chassis, we found the brakes good, both front and rear. Turning out attention to the climate control, we checked the system and it operates as designed. We installed a new cabin air filter for you. Going around the vehicle, we replaced the LH lower tail light as it had a small crack and also installed new headlight wiper blades. Finishing up, we installed new wiper blades, front and rear. Just traded in at our local Naples FL Porsche dealership, I was fortunate to get it and offer for sale here to my eBay Motors customers! Bought new and registered in PA before coming to Florida, this had to be one of our "snowbird" winter resident vehicles evidenced by the lack of any rust or salt damage. As nice as you could find with very little wear and not even smoked in! The air is cold, the front seats are heated  and the CD cassette stereo sounds great! Ready to enjoy right away! The camera flash reflection off the carpet and material can make things look faded or dirty, it's not like that in person. I will mention that it has a power sliding sunroof, but it's not working. It is in the closed position, but nothing happens when I try the switch. All I could do was check the fuse and that was fine. The manual shade panel moves open and closed, but not super smooth, so if you want the sunroof to work, it will need your attention. I did not bother to go any further with it because honestly, a lot of people hardly ever use a sunroof or care if it even has one.                                                         Lot's of room in a wagon!
