The interior is in very nice condition as well for the age and the AC blows ice cold!! The truck is 4x4 which also works great if you ever need it. Being a 4cyl it does get exceptionally good gas money large for a truck and has more than enough power to get out of its own way with a pretty large 2.4 liter engine. As you can see from the picture it has been kept in nice condition with minimal wear. Up for sale is a 2001 Toyota Tacoma crew cab with 217K miles but everyone that knows about 1998-2004 Tacomas last to 400K miles without a problem with proper upkeep. It is a 4x4 with the rear differential lock. Since it's the TRD model it has the upgraded Bilstein shocks which ride great. The timing belt/water pump was done at 184K miles, along with the spark plugs (pulled them to verify). Recently put a little over $1,000 in maintenance which includes a brand new windshield on it, 4 brand new Continental tires (265/70/16) which retail for little over $175 a tire, along with a fresh alignment, new driveshaft center support bearing, and a new inspection sticker. It also comes with a snap down tonneau cover that recently got new shocks. This truck is turn key that needs nothing but a new owner. It has been in Virginia its whole life so the frame is rust free. Everything works as it should, engine and transmission very strong and has plenty of life left in it. The only small piece that it needs is the plastic piece on top of the back bumper which is half missing but that's minor cosmetics. The price is negotiable but no low balls, it is very hard to find a clean tacoma because half of them are either rusted out, prerunners (2wd), or taken off-road without proper upkeep and no maintenance records. It has a Sony MP3 head unit with built in blue tooth hands free calling, Infinity Kappa speakers in all 4 doors, a Skid Row off road skid plate, Rhino Lined bed with a small black powder coated locking tool box, K&N drop in air filter, transmission serviced with 16 quarts of Redline ATF etc. We are only selling our Tacoma because we are inheriting a newer one! The truck was inspected by Toyota under the recall for both the frame and the spare tire carrier, both were found to be 100% fine. The undercarriage does have some minor surface rust on a few things but overall is very, very clean for its age. Ill try to get a couple pictures ASAP of the undercarriage. Also the skid plate came up and why I installed it. I replaced it with the heavy duty Skid Row Off Road brand skid plate after accidentally backing over the stock skid plate after changing the oil. Any time I replaced things on the truck I upgraded to stout aftermarket parts where needed. The "lift springs" have come up in one email as well, the truck rides like stock, very very smooth and soft just sits a little higher than it did when I bought it, I did this mainly for the look, I thought with the running boards it just looked too low in stock form.
