($63-$140.- for the part)Other than that it's very well kept and in very good condition inside-out, few dents, discolored front bumper. Feels and drives really smooth and nice. A joy to own. Ice cold AC. Replaced power steering pump, AC and drier, fuel filter and water pump with thermostat, Display Information System and cruise control electronic module. LOW LOW mile car for year, maybe 99,000. Reason for sale: LOST THE ONLY KEY about Mar 2016. Car was a great running vehicle, good starting, good power, no oil use avg 26.5 mpg combined driving. Smooth shifting quiet transmission. Would make a great project or parts donor car. Body in great shape, metal straight, no rust (maybe an edge paint chip) hood paint and roof corners were paint fading. Interior leather in use able shape .. think previous owner had dog companion .. all sitting surfaces have some level of minor cuts/scratched. Computer system and audio all worked although typical LCD degradation was occurring. Never wrecked to my knowledge. Was told car was divorced female owned, from Colo. who needed more family friendly vehicle. She reported that the Turbo was reportedly replaced under warranty around 50K.0 I purchased w/62k. Regularly service engine/transmission fluids. Recent OEM struts (4), rotors, brake pads at 85k. Main detractor: the air door divider plastic part had broken in the dash, common to these .. have replacement, but not installed Muffler/exhaust was disconnected in effort to diagnose growing exhaust noise .. Up for sale is a very well cared for 1999 SAAB 9-3 SE Turbo convertible 5-speed. The paint is fair to good, being a FL vehicle, the paint takes a beating, so the clear coat is flaking in a few spots. It has: new convertible top, AC compressor, radiator, engine and transmission mounts, tires, front struts, all front control arms and tie rod ends, recent alignment. The convertible top works flawlessly. The AC blows ice cold. All the displays work perfectly without any dead pixels. The interior is in good condition with only slight wear in the leather seats. The SID shows "CHECK OK" which means all systems are go. The fog lights don't work. A SAAB mechanic told me it's probably a bad relay, but I have never needed to use them so I didn't chase it down. It has 131K miles, and runs great; burns no oil. Since I've owned it for the past couple of years, all I will use is synthetic oil. I'm selling it because I've purchased a new vehicle and my wife can't drive a standard shift, so she needs a different car.

This Saab drives well and there are currently no issues. I just replaced the fuel pump and water pump. Previous owner had installed new brakes, clutch and battery within the last year. All power features work well, including the roof. The only issue is that the final stage of the roof locking into the closed position requires a very slight manual push from the outside (this adds maybe 10 seconds to the process). Also, there's a short fan belt installed that bypasses the AC compressor. If you want the AC to work, you'll need to install the longer belt. The belt itself costs about $30. Title is clear. Car is valid for inspection in New York State until August, 2016. 1999 Saab 9-5 Cayenne Red, tan interior – looks great – runs great. 2.3L 4-cylinder turbo, automatic If you’re looking for a well-maintained, classic original Saab 9-5, this is a great example. History: I’m the original owner. This car was ordered from my Saab dealer for European Delivery – built to US specifications. Because I planned to own it long-term, I selected the option for the cloth interior, which wears much better than leather and still looks great. I took delivery at the factory in Trolhatten, Sweden, drove it in Europe for a couple of weeks, had it shipped by Saab from Antwerp, Belgium back to my local dealer under Saab's European Delivery/IDS program. Condition: This vehicle has high mileage, (including a lot of highway miles), but has been very well maintained. I’ve used Mobil-1 full synthetic oil & filters exclusively. It has newer top-of-the-line Michelin MXV4 all-season V-rated tires (7/32 tread, no uneven wear). A Bosch alternator, and battery were installed in July 2013. The turbocharger was rebuilt in 2014. The air conditioner components have all been replaced, and the A/C is fully functional. The interior cabin fan, heater valve, re-circulation door motor, and blend door have also been replaced. The System Information Display (SID) was replaced with a new factory unit (latest version), and works perfectly. The radio has been upgraded with the factory wiring harness accessory connected to a Motorola Bluetooth system for hands-free telephone capability through the radio speakers and built-in microphone. The engine has had the cylinder head machined, with a new head gasket and a valve job, and compression is good. The transmission and brake master cylinder have been replaced. The vehicle theft alarm battery has been replaced and is fully functional. Genuine Saab muffler, in great shape. The fuel pump and filter, all hoses, thermostat, and radiator have been replaced. New (Bosch) front brake rotors were installed in 2015. Little to no oil leakage – all seals replaced, no oil sludge in engine. PCV crankcase ventilation system upgraded to latest Saab-recommended modifications. All work has been done by EcoTech – this area’s top independent Saab repair shop, or a local Saab dealer. All emblems and badges are in great shape. Fabric seats, in great condition – no leather to crack, crease, or discolor. This vehicle has never been in a collision, but some time ago, debris fell off a tractor-trailer on the highway and hit the rear driver side door, which was replaced with a new Saab door (vs a used part, or door "skin"). The body shop (Schafer) did the work and blended the paint to match perfectly. There is also a scrape on one of the wheels from this incident, which was not replaced.
