Engine is in excellent condition with only synthetic oil used. Integrated GPS, CD-DVD, Bluetooth, radio, USB and dual memory card ports. Has BMW Sport package including leather Sport bucket seats. Comes with four Nokian Hakkapeliitta snow tires with only one season on them (virtually new). Also comes with two high performance Hankook summer tires in medium condition. Good condition gold 1998 BMW 528i 4 Door Sedan; we are the second owners of this vehicle, having bought it in 2002. Non smoking. It has been garaged most winters and has only very small rust spots that can be seen in close up pictures- some tiny spots above front headlights, small area by driver door bottom and one spot by passenger back door smaller than pea sized. There is a faint indentation middle of the trunk top. Automatic; Mileage 166,330. Pros- new radiator, newer battery, body in very good condition, heater and heated seats work, has sunroof, cruise control, clean title. Starts on first try and runs smoothly and quietly. Cons- driver seat electric seat adjuster not working, AC not working/ needs charged, tire tread getting low. No warranty, sold as is. We are only finding one remote access key at this time. If we cannot locate a second one by time of sale, will have a spare key made. Will consider best offers

ITEM DESCRIPTION: POWER TRAIN This vehicle starts first time and idles smoothly. The engine is in good condition with no defects noted. NOTE: This car will need transmission work. The transmission slips when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. Once the slip is detected the car goes into limp mode. I.e the transmission will drive only in 3rd gear. If the ignition is turned off and then on again, the limp mode is cleared until the next slip is detected. The car is drivable but should not be driven long distances as the transmission will drive only in 3rd after it slips. The CEL is on with code P0730 – Incorrect 3rd gear ratio. MILEAGE This car has 134k miles on the odometer. This is relatively low mileage for a 1998 car. EXTERIOR The body of the car is clean and above average. There 1 or 2 minor scratches on the right side of the car. The front and rear bumpers are scuffed. The paint is clean and free of major blemishes. Overall a relatively clean car for the year. The car has been cleaned but not detailed so do not expect a showroom ready car. TIRES , BRAKES & SUSPENSION This car has 4 average Cooper tires. The brakes work well but have not been inspected for wear. Suspension is tight with no strange noises noticed. Please keep in mind a few requirements and courtesies. Please intend to, and be ready & able to (financially and otherwise), complete the purchase of the vehicle within the timeframes set out herein. Participating without the intention to complete the transaction is unfair to me the seller and to other bidders who may want the vehicle. It also wastes a lot of time and money. I may obtain the registered information of users participating in my auctions, and may filter or cancel any bids at my discretion. 2.2. End An Auction Early. "Buy it now" auctions may end at any time if the buy it now feature is exercised or a "best offer" is accepted. I seldom end my auctions early. If you are the winning bidder, congratulations! You must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements for the completion of the transaction. You must also pay a $500.00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction to secure the vehicle. 3.3. Pay the Balance Due. I accept wire transfers, cashier's checks, and cash in person (under $10,000 only). I accept PayPal for the payment of deposits only. All funds must be in US dollars. 3.5. Fees and Taxes. 3.5.1. Dealer Fee. I charge a $100 dealer fee, which will be added to all transactions. This includes winning bids, buy it now prices, and best offers accepted. No exceptions will be made. 3.5.2. Sales Tax. 3.5.2.1. Georgia Buyers. I am required to GA Title Ad Valorem Tax (TAVT) which is currently set at 6.5% of the fair market value of the car based on the year , make and model as determined by the GA DOR. You will be responsible for paying your state's sales tax directly. 3.5.3. Tag & Title. 3.5.3.1. Georgia Buyers. I am required by law to handle your title work. Title work cannot be done in GA without payment of TAVT as specified above. Therefore, GA buyers will not be handed the title as was previously the practice. I will handle all the title work and the GA DMV will mail you a title in your name. You will be provided with a GA temporary registration valid for 30 days while the title work is being done. 3.5.3.2. Out-of-State Buyers. I will provide you with the vehicle's title if available at the time of sale. Most vehicles I sell have the title ready at the time of sale. In some cases, the title may be in transit or not ready. You are however guaranteed a clean and clear title within 21days of the sale. You will be responsible for handling the tag and title work in your state. 3.6. Exchange Documents and Signatures. There are, unfortunately, paperwork requirements for completing the transaction, which vary depending on whether you are from out-of-state or not. These will be discussed when you contact me initially. 3.7. If You Fail to Pay or Communicate with Me. I expect the transaction to go smoothly. However, if you fail to (i) make contact with me, (ii) pay the deposit, (iii) provide me with required signatures/documents, or (iv) pay the remaining balance (including applicable fees, taxes, and charges), within the timeframes set forth herein, I reserve the right to keep your deposit and re-list the vehicle or otherwise sell it as I see fit, without notice, at my sole discretion. I also reserve the right to report the issue to eBay as I deem fit. 4. Take Delivery of Your New Vehicle 4.1. Shipping. It is frequently less expensive to have a vehicle shipped to your location than it is to fly in and drive it back, and certainly more hassle-free. I can assist you in finding a shipper and can get very competitive shipping quotes. You pay the shipper directly and are responsible for delivery arrangements. I assume no responsibility for damage to the vehicle incurred after it leaves my premises.
