An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the body, paint, glass, lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. A bad purchase could turn into the buyer’s worst nightmare and be extremely costly! Up for your consideration is my 1995 Chevrolet S-10 pickup. The truck features a 4.3l V6 engine, NV3500 5 speed manual transmission, 4 wheel drive, air conditioning, and a rear cap. The truck is in excellent shape, the transmission shifts great, the 4x4 works well (the truck did not leave my driveway during winter months), the engine runs smooth and produces plenty of power, the air conditioning blows cold, the heat blows hot, etc. The truck was garaged for the majority of its life as you can tell by the pictures and is in immaculate shape. The Michelin LTX tires have a decent amount of tread left and shouldn't have to be replaced for quite a while. This is my dad's truck like I said before and we did not buff it or anything. The paint would be a lot shinier if it had a good buff and polish on it. Up for sale is a *ONE OF A KIND* 1995 Chevrolet Suburban Dually 454 cubic inch big block with 67,544 original miles. This truck is beautiful and runs great. It is very clean with no rust. I bought this truck a year ago and it has always been dependable. It has a K&N Filter and dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. I believe the motor is totally stock except for the air filter. It runs strong and doesn't burn oil. The paint is really nice and you can tell that someone spent a lot of money on this paint job. The hood is made of metal not fiberglass like a lot of aftermarket hoods. This truck originally started as a 3/4 ton regular axle and was converted to a 1 ton dually at some point. The conversion appears to have been professionally done and may have even been done at a GM dealership but I don't know that for a fact. It has 17 inch rims and tires. The tires have a lot of tread left on them as seen in the pictures. Almost all the exterior lights were converted to LED and they look awesome. This truck is a rear wheel drive with automatic overdrive transmission, cruise control, P/S, P/B, P/W and P/L. The air conditioning works great in the front and rear of the truck. The interior is pretty clean. There are some stains on the rugs but most are in places that are not visible. The truck also comes with a tow package which includes an electronic brake controller and tow mirrors which can be extended out. The original mirrors and the original air cleaner do come with the truck along with some other accessories that I bought for the truck but did not have time to install. The accessories include B&M shift improver kit, low profile bug & stone protector for hood and 454 SS vinyl letters. I also have a custom car cover made specifically for this truck. This truck runs great down the road and is in excellent all around condition and everything works as it should. Please be aware that the truck is in excellent condition and not brand new condition. The truck also qualifies for collector car insurance. I am looking to get asking price but I am taking offers on the truck and I believe that the price of this truck is fair considering that it would cost well over $20,000 to build this exact truck. I may be willing to deliver the truck for one dollar per mile depending on where you are. This is probably the most pristine rock crawling capable street legal & emissions compliant Toyota T100 4x4 on the planet. It runs and drives perfect and has absolutely no mechanical issues. It started life in 6/95 made 100% in Japan, which should be appreciated for those honest Americans who know what junk 4x4's the USA was churning out back then. The T100 with its famous 195hp 5VZE-FE engine and fully boxed frame had the distinction of being the 1st OBDII compliant engine sold a year before every other American car which was mandated by Federal law to start in 1996. That means when it came to emissions testing instead of running the vehicle on rollers and inserting sniffer probes up its butt the T100 simply required plugging in a computer connection to the OBDII port under the dash. Bottom line is so long as you don't have a check engine light on the dash they will always pass emissions in all 50 states. Needless to say this rig does not have a check light and will pass emissions anywhere. The numbers matching 3.4L 5VZE-FE was made from 1994 (in the T100) all the way through 2004 in the Tacoma, so there's a decade of proven reliability and aftermarket support, with many units achieving up to 600,000 miles before needing rebuilt. It's the only V6 engine with a 4 valve head that was non-interference, meaning if the timing belt broke the valve train would not collide. No other manufacturer could claim that. This particular truck has a new OEM Aisin timing kit with tensioners & Aisin water pump, not to mention new NGK plugs, wires, motor oil, air filter and freshly cleaned throttle body. It starts every time with a click of the key and runs smooth & quiet as a sewing machine. No knocks, no smoke, no leaks, no isues. Runs cool. Just smooth reliable power. The stock numbers matching A340F Automatic Transmission shifts smooth and precise as designed. It's the most reliable Automatic transmission humans have ever built, bar none. Yes Americans invented the auto tranny but Japan far exceeded their reliability. This ones's been freshly flushed with new filter, fluids and pan gasket. It features a very well designed cooling system with a large finned aluminum cooler mounted on the side oif the transmission with lines that run to a cooling reservoir at the bottom of the stock aluminum radiator. Toyotas also feature a drain plug on the torque converter which is very rare. Auto trannies work well with rock crawlers because the torque converter acts as virtually an infinite gear reduction. The stock T-Case is extremely rugged and works exactly as designed. It features a 2.57 to 1 low range which is plenty adequate mounted to an A340F. Fluid is fresh.
