I bought this 1992 Ford Taurus GL Wagon to move with and no longer need it, although strangely enough, it has become my daily driver for the past week. In any event, it served me well and I'm happy to have owned it. Overall it's a pretty clean car inside and out. Doesn't ever appear to have been smoked in. A few rust areas, but nothing too major. Tires and brakes are both in excellent shape. All lights and turn signals work. All the power buttons work except for the rear driver's side window on the driver's panel, the passenger panel window button does work. Here's a video of it started from cold: https://youtu.be/yT79aDaMEK0 Specs: 110,435 miles as of this posting which will go up as it's being driven daily 3.8L V6 Engine with 4-Speed over drive transmission All Power Locks, Windows, Mirrors ALL WORK Cruise Control and Intermittent Wipers Air Conditioning blows cold, Heat is HOT AM/FM with Cassette Tape Player that still works perfectly (No CD) Recent work includes: New Water Pump, Coolant Hose and Fresh Antifreeze Complete Tune-Up that included new plugs, wires, distributor cap and DPFE Sensor New Brake Lines from driver's seat all the way back to both wheels and new brake fluid Regular Oil Changes A/C converted from R12 to 134 Replaced Drive Belt Tensionor With a little care, this vehicle should last a while. Pretty low miles for the year. I prefer a local cash buyer to pick up the vehicle, but will ship if you make all the arrangements. FOR SALE 1992 Ford Taurus SHO This second generation SHO model Ford Taurus was a limited production performance variant of the 4-door sedan with a YAMAHA built high revving engine which had 220 horsepower and can turn over 7000 rpm coupled to a 5-speed manual transmisson, hence the name badge Super High Output This SHO is fun to drive and still can suprise most at the red lights even though it has 204*** miles on the odometer. Has been my daily driver for many years, but recently has been parked alot until it just had a new clutch installed and the timing belt was replaced about 10,000 miles ago, so those 2 items will not need any attention for awhile. The car has been regularly maintained and runs and drives great, no major leaks , no warning lamps on, tires have about 1/2 tread , and oil was recently serviced. This car is also very comfortable to ride in and is loaded with features you wouldnt expect in an older vehicle, here is a list of some ~dual eight way power seats w/lumbar and side bolster adjustments ~auto climate control (yes, a/c still works) ~auto headlamps ~crusie control ~sunroof ~leather~power windows~power locks w/keyless entry pad ~JBL audio system ~dual front airbags ~anti-lock brakes (4-wheel disc) ~power steering The car is in very good condition although interior does have some wear, especially at drivers seat (the seat bottom has had a replacement piece sewn in) and the paint is original so not as glossy as when new. This is still a very clean car with no rust and never wrecked the only modifications are K&N air filter and dual Flowmaster mufflers wich have a nice low mellow sound thats not too loud for a daily driver.
