I would estimate the car is 95%. 5.7 140000 miles but looks and runs great all maintenance was done on or before needed. This car was owned by a friend of mine that passed away. The only reason he worked was to buy parts for his cars. It is a very nice car and if a gm bolt came out a GM bolt went back in he was meticulous about all his cars and this was his favorite. All original first year survivor 1987 Pontiac GTA Trans Am with 79k original miles since new. Completely original cosmetically including the original white paint. California blue plate clean title GTA. No rust at all not even a bubble, panels line up perfectly and the body is all original. No rust on the floors or frame either. It has the original TPI 5.0 V8 and automatic transmission. Loaded with all the options, including T-Tops. Starts right up and runs great. Stays cool and it does not seem to have any leaks. The steering is tight and the transmission shifts properly. The brakes work but it has been a few years since they were looked over. It has been stored here in southern California and driven very little as the odometer shows.The gauges work well. The power windows work but they are slow and should be serviced. Headlights work but the doors do not open on their own although they do make noise. It needs some TLC but it is an original first year GTA that you can drive as it sits. Clean title in hand. You are looking at a 1987 Trans am GTA That runs and drives great! There is minor cosmetic wear that can be seen in the pictures. The cars interior is good. the carpet is nice there is no tears in the carpet, the driver seat has a little wear from driving the car. There is 2 extra gauges in the car for oil and for temperature. The car has been wired custom and the radiator is aftermarket. There is about 6000 miles on the car and it drives smooth and fast. The motor is not original it is a NEW, not rebuilt, LT4 crate motor that came from a 1997 Chevrolet Grandsport. It has a nitrous hookup on it with a 100 shot tank that I have not used. The cosmetic wear is there is a crack in the spoiler on the back. that has been there since I have had the car. The other issue is flaking paint on the bottom of the front bumper. The pictures I have taken should show the damage. If you need more pictures email me so I can add more if I need to. The car is rare, clean and it is super fast! 1987 Pontiac Trans Am. This is a rare GTA model and the car is rust free. No rust underneath and the car has had no rust repair. It has trans am front fenders becasue the previous owner liked the look of the vents, which I think look good. Car was recently painted in the factory black and a 1991 GTA spoiler replaced the troublesome rubber rear spoilers these cars came with. Paint is decent, great driver quality, good for a local drive in show but its not perfect. Could use some more detailing but displays nice. Engine is the factory 350 TPI with an automatic 4 speed automatic overdrive trans. Car runs and shifts good, has plenty of power. Exhaust is aftermarket I believe magnaflow? Factory 4 wheel disc brakes and posi rear work good. Original and correct GTA wheels are nice. Headlight doors work as they should. Interior is very nice. Factoryfront bucket seats with adjustable boolsters have been recovered as has the headliner. Tilt wheel, factory gauges, rear hatch release and pull down, power windows and locks and power mirrors all work. (some may need minor adjustments) A/c and cruise control are present but do not work. Both door panels have a crack on the upper plastic which is common but when the doors are closed you dont see it. Dash pad is very nice. It has a small damage spot about the size of a dime which should be an easy repair. Aftermarket CD player and speakers play and sound good. Rest of the interior is in nice shape. I have the GTA emblems. The front bumper one is rough and should be replaced. The fender ones cannot be installed becasue the t/a fender vents sit where they would mount. The sail panel emblems are ok I just didnt install them. Was going to get a complete new set. Tires are decent. I would have no problem driving this car anywhere. Runs rides and drives very nice. That being said, it is still being sold as is and has no warrantly or guarantee at all. I am looking for a 77-78 Trans Am t-top body. MUST be clean. Might be willing to work something towards this car. This is arguably the best color on this coupe just because it makes the standard tinted windows, and tinted rear taillight panel look so bold. For a genuine classic that has past the 25-year-old mark, it also looks remarkably well preserved, with a respray of the original color, blemish-free ground-effects, and the original vented hood that always looks so aggressive. But when a GTA is at the car shows, you know everyone is focused on those cool factory crosslace gold wheels. Inside is everything you want from an original GTA. It starts with the new bucket seats that include electronic inflatable bolstering for extra comfort in all conditions.
