This is a custom1983 Coupe Deville with a full 1991 frame swap, dash swap, engine swap, interior swap. everything swap! This is the Coupe Deville Cadillac should have built in the early 90's. I merged a 1983 Coupe Deville and 1991 brougham. The color called diamond Blue and look awesome in the sun. It has a lavender tint to it and the metal flakes pops in the sun. New half top and all new emblems and hood ornament. The rear bumper and front grill and show quality parts. The 1990 trim has been custom made by one of the best in the business and installed along with the Fleetwood coupe stainless trim. With the price of these parts in the shape they are in, the car is probably worth more in pieces that it is together. All running gear is from the brougham including the fuel injected 5.0L, 4 speed overdrive transmission, and rear end. Under the hood, everything is new from every air conditioning part to chrome alternator, vale covers and sir cleaner. This is the 1991 frame as well with a partial wrap to help support the hydraulics suspension. This is not a hopper, its a 4 switch CCE system with 2 pumps and 8 batteries. It can do a decent 3 wheel motion but these cars are built to cruise and have fun not beat up. The Rear has 12" coil overs and power balls and fronts are 8" with 4 ton chrome springs all around. The Front A-Arms are reinforced, extended, and chromed. The rear trailing arms are chrome and the uppers are adjustable in the same matching blue powder as the frame. The wheels are custom 100 spoke knock offs with matching Cadillac emblems and brand new Uniroyal tires. The Dash is the digital 1991 dash using the 1991 harness as well so everything works seamless and fits well. The seats are stock 1991 blue leather, its in decent shape but shows some wear. The car was almost finished and then went into storage. This was a full nut and bolt restoration, pictures don't do this thing justice. It does need a little finishing: I had the hood and header panel re-sprayed before I put it in storage and so that needs to be wet sanded and buffed out. The A/C components need to be attached to the new condenser. The seatbelts are not stalled but most lowrider guys don't want them anyways but I have them to install. Drive it to shows as a lowrider or remove the hydraulics and just have a nice driver, its your choice... I am happy to work with your shipping company and will ship overseas. You are viewing my 1972 Cadillac Coupe Deville. This a very low mileage example that has been shown often and has earned a trunk full of trophies for its incredible condition and originality. I have been lucky enough to own this incredible car for about 3 years and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It drives as beautifully as it looks. Of the generation of Deville's offered between 1965 and 1974, I believe that the '72 is the best combination of power, luxury and overall ride quality. And this Coupe Deville exemplifies all those qualities to near perfection. I have taken this car out on a number of extended highway cruises and it has performed magnificently. I have owned and collected classic cars for the last 26 years, beginning with the 1969 Dodge Charger I bought when I was sixteen, and which I still own today. I still own my 2nd car as well, a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am, which I drove from my senior year in high school through to my second year of graduate school in the department of English at the University of Central Florida in Winter Park, FL. So my passion for classic cars has been a lifelong pursuit and is about the most fun I can imagine having. I am an Oxford-educated motorhead that's been car crazy since bell bottoms were in style the first time around. And because I love to find, own, drive and collect all kinds of classic cars, there comes a point when I have to sell a few of them to keep my collection manageable, or else they all don't get exercised like they should. This is one of those times. My collection has expanded to about two dozen cars, when really, if I am totally honest with myself, I should get it down to about twelve so that I have the time to drive and enjoy them all. I am a firm believer that cars should and need to be driven. And when I can't drive them all enough, I go through the painful process of letting a few of them go on to new owners that will hopefully get out there and drive them more than I have time to. This is the reason I am proudly offering my 1972 Coupe Deville for sale to its next proud owner. The interior in this Coupe Deville is as near perfect as any I've ever seen, and the seats are absolutely spectacular. This is a Great project car that needs a few things to make it a daily driver...;-) The exterior of this car is beautiful. The Silver Paint still looks good, it is faded in a few spots that I show in the video. All of the Stainless Steel Trim is in really great shape and didnot take much to make it shine. The Hub Caps look good and are in pretty good shape. This car does fire up and sounds great, but the transmission does need to be replaced, that is the main problem with it. Other than that I am not sure that it needs much more to get it on the road and then you will be cruising around town in this Cool Classic Cadillac.This is a Second Generation of the Seville's in the Bustle-back or Slantback as most people call them now days.
