The era of full-sized luxury muscle was dying, just like the rest of the high-horsepower machines, but that didn\'t stop Pontiac from building cars like this ultra-cool 1972 Grand Prix Model J. There\'s still a rumbling 400-inch V8 under the hood, a pair of bucket seats inside, and enough performance to make it a legitimate piece of the Pontiac legend. Time has been kind to the Grand Prix, whose design stands out as one of the better ones of the period. Of course, long hoods and short decks have been in fashion since the dawn of the industry, but this Grand Prix gets it exactly right. A slight freshening for the \'71 model year only helps, adding a neo-boat-tail rear end. This car has been nicely restored in its original Monarch Yellow, which suits the upscale Poncho just fine, especially with the black vinyl top. Befitting a car of this one\'s stature, fit and finish are quite good, particularly with that massive hood sitting flush which is no small achievement. The big doors line up well, too, and the paint has a great gloss that seems well-suited to the period, neither too shiny like a modern car nor faded-looking like original paint. This one just looks right. Note the crisp line along the lower edges of the body that makes panel alignment so critical, as well as neat details like the slotted rear side marker lights and pinstripes that highlight some of the more dramatic sheetmetal curves. Thankfully, Pontiac took it easy on the chrome, using it sparingly on the tightly-fitted bumpers to make a statement, and it remains in excellent condition. Pontiac\'s commitment to luxury and performance is quite evident inside, where you get comfortable buckets flanking a sporty console. A wrap-around instrument panel was new and Pontiac advertising called it \"aircraft-inspired\" which might be a reach, but it sure looks good. The black seat covers have to be recent, as they\'re just too nice to be original and there appear to be fresh carpets on the floor. However, the door panels are likely original and their condition suggests that this car has lived an exceptionally easy life. The car includes power windows, a tilt column, power brakes and steering (mandatory on a beast this size, I\'d think), and a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission that\'s a reliable travelling partner. The trunk is naked, but that also means that there are no secrets hiding under a mat, and you can see that this car is really clean. Mechanically, the 400 cubic inch Pontiac V8 is hard to beat. Torquey, smooth, and versatile, it moves the big GP with ease. Obviously detailed, it takes its influences from contemporary Trans Ams and wears enough chrome to suggest it was built to show off. Edelbrock supplied a new intake and 4-barrel carburetor to help add horsepower, as does the newer Flowmaster dual exhaust system. The underside is original and not detailed for show, but a dusting of undercoating does nothing to hide the fact that this car doesn\'t suffer from the tin worm like so many of its contemporaries. And those handsome Pontiac Rally II wheels look as good here as they do on its siblings, wearing big 235/70/15 blackwall radials. These cars have a dedicated following and with values only going up, now is the time to put a clean, attractive Grand Prix in your stable. Call today! 1977 Ford Thunderbird American Classic. This 1977 Ford Thunderbird American Classic is in good condition- 49300 miles- Rear wheel drive- V8- Exterior is white and tan with white leather interior- Clear title in hand- Power steering- AC and heat work great. Note. See below for history.- The Thunderbird T Bird is an automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company in the United States over eleven model generations from 1955 through 2005. - When introduced it created the market niche eventually known as the personal luxury car.- For 1977 the Thunderbird was shifted to the smaller 114 inches wheelbase chassis that underpinned the 1972 thru 76 Ford Torino and its replacement the LTD II which also debuted for 1977. - In 1977 Thunderbird outsold the Oldsmobile Cutlass to become Americas top selling personal luxury sedan. - It was Fords first effort at downsizing the Thunderbird reflecting rising demand for more fuel efficient cars. - In essence this generation was a continuation of the 1974 thru 1976 Ford Elite Fords first attempt at competing in the market created by the Pontiac Grand Prix and Chevrolet Monte Carlo. - Compared to the previous generation Thunderbird the new car lost nearly 8 inches of overall length at 217.7 and 900 lb of weight although height and width were relatively unchanged. - A substantial component of the weight reduction was in the drivetrain where a small block V8 replaced the heavier big block V8s of previous years and proved to be an outstanding performer. - The standard engine outside of California was the 302 cu in 4.9 L Windsor V8 while the larger 351 cu in 5.8 L 351M and 400 cu in 6.6 L and T tops were available as options along with the 351W. - In California the 351 was the only engine available. For the first time a wide fixed B pillar was used reflecting Detroits abandonment of pillarless hardtops in the mid and late 1970s. - However the door window glass remained frameless.- Serious inquires only. Qualified buyers are eligible for financing nationwide shipping and extended warranties.

1951 Plymouth Custom, Exterior: Yellow, Interior: White, When you think 50s your mind usually goes to the tri five Chevy or shoe box Ford. Well one look at this classic and you will be wondering why there isnt a 50s Plymouth at every car show. This classic 51 Plymouth Convertible has an awesome look and needs nothing. The car has awesome body lines and a classic look you just cant beat. It has all of the right custom touches to accent the original Plymouth design perfectly. The car really stands out in a crowd and always draws a crowd. You rarely see these cars out especially custom ones like this. The body is very straight and is painted a very nice PPG urethane custom yellow pearl paint. It has a ton of pearl and will almost change color depending on what light it is in. It has been chopped 2" and sectioned 4" to create a very cool lead sled look. It has a pancaked hood and all of the corners and door corners have been rounded. The trunk has been shortened and to each side you will find custom inset 53 Lincoln taillights. A Lincoln chrome bumper was also used so it mates up perfectly to the taillights. Lucas headlights are in place and the 55 Chevy eyebrows add a nice custom touch. The front end is reminiscent of the original Plymouth but has been completely transformed with a 55 Willys grill and Camaro bumper. All of this chrome is in beautiful condition with a great finish. All of the glass is in good shape as well with a custom V windshield mounted up front. Check out the pictures and you will see that from front to rear these custom components work perfectly together. The car really was DESIGNED to be a custom and in a world full of them it is nice to see something a little different. It is much more than your standard chop/shave custom. It has a great stance which is all adjustable due to the air ride technologies air bags in front and rear. Now you cant set the perfect height for a smooth ride down the road and drop it or give it a rake at car shows. It has old school style Colorado wheels all the way around which are wrapped with wide white wall Coker radial tires to really set them off. The white convertible top looks great on or off the car and is a Carson system that is very easily removed. If you thought you were going to pop the hood to see a plain crate motor then guess again. A 1972 340 Plymouth motor is in place with a tri power system that performs just as well as it looks. The finned air cleaners have all been custom accented with Yellow which matches the Mopar finned valve covers. The car has 340 heads and a cam and the motor runs very well with plenty of power. It has a great sound which is delivered through Sanderson headers into Smittys mufflers. The 904 transmission shifts very well with no problems and sends power back to the 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix rear end. The front end is also from a 72 Pontiac and was narrowed 4" to fit perfectly in place. A power brake system is in place and works properly utilizing the Granada power brake booster. Using the remote door popper to take a peak inside you will see everything is very nicely done with just as much quality custom work as the rest. A custom dash is in place with all Classic Instrument gauges. A vintage AC system is nicely mounted throughout with nice billet control knobs. The seats are all very comfortable and are covered in White that is in great condition. Yellow piping was used throughout the rolled and pleated 6 way power seats giving it that nostalgic feel. The tilt and telescoping steering column is nicely painted to match the dash and is topped with a Colorado custom steering wheel that matches the wheels. When your cruising in style you want to have your favorite tunes so a remote stereo is in place with a 6 CD changer nicely mounted in the trunk. Take a look around whether it is online or at local shows and you will quickly see how unique this car is. It has an awesome appearance and people love checking out all the custom work. It is very solid and would make a great drive/show car for anyone looking for something a little different. You wont be parking next to another one at a show any time soon! Park this baby in your garage for $59,500.00!! Asking $59500, Located in POLAND OH 44514, Contact Howard at 724-730-3221 for more information.
