Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance Sedan 4-Door 5.0 Was a one owner car until I had filed for lost title due to owners death and title was not located. I bought the car with 41000 original miles with original sales receipt from dealer and I have all registrations insurance renewals and repair ticket for the car from 1986 to current very clean inside and out but still needs work due to the fact car was parked since 2004. since I bought it I have put in a new gas tank all new tires engine flush and fluid change new belts and drove the car from Shreveport Louisiana to El paso TX 860 mile one way trip. car will need work on all chrome to either re polish or re chrome but I have sourced a used front bumper grille and wheel trim. car starts and runs drives with good brakes cold ac and cruise control but horn and windshield wipers do not work, Radio works but not the cassette player does not and antenna was disconnected because it kept running. It will require further detailing cleaning of engine compartment and other areas but the car still is very Respectful project that gets lots of attention and complements when I drive it. This is 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. Last of the great big body American sedans. I purchased this vehicle in El Paso, TX from a dealer 8 years ago. This was my daily driver, never been in a major accident, and the car does have some cosmetic damages that you can see in the pictures. This car does need some work, but it has a very strong engine, brand new battery, completely rebuilt transmission done by Aamco. It still gets a lot of attention, and drives very smooth. The known issues that I am aware of (besides the damages in the pics), are as follows:Oil Leak (what 20 year old car doesn't)Electrial issue- The car starts and runs perfectly, but the display does not work (speedometer, mileage, gas level). The mileage I listed at 200k is an ESTIMATE based on the last time I saw it which was at 186k. The warning lights still display. Inside lights will come on randomly at times, other times it isn't an issue. The headlights work fine, as well as parking lights, break up and reverse lights. The turn signal lights do not come on. This could be as simple as new fuses, but I have not checked this out. A/C does not work, it will need a new unit including blower. This also goes for the heater.Back window on the drivers side will get stuck if you roll it all the way down. Any other questions you have please send me a message.
