1975 Cadillac Eldorado convertible with factory numbers matching original 500 Cubic Inch Engine. Fresh professional and impeccable paint in factory original Cotillion White with a nice Crimson interior. Factory options include: Tilt / Telescopic WheelAir ConditioningCruise controlPower convertible topFactory AM/FM 8 TrackPower seatsPower trunk releasePower WindowsPower Door LocksPower SteeringPower Brakes This Cadillac was mechanic owned for the past 10 years and has been maintained to a level that only a Cadillac enthusiast with long term ownership plans would. A list of the following repairs was made in the time of owning this Cadillac and less than 25K miles have been put on the car in the last 10 years. This Eldorado, for all intents and purposes, was restored both mechanically and body. While not confirmed, it appears this car was a California car for some time of its life as the original owner’s manual has a California address label affixed to it. This explains the clean undercarriage and minimal rust. Very little was done to the interior and the photos speak for themselves as to the condition. Notice the tubular center pillow arm rest. Specific only to the early 1975 model year cars with 50/50 seats and quite rare to find it still intact. Also this Eldo retains the correct factory all stainless steel (non color) hub caps which are correct to the 1975 (later years 76 had black only and 77-78 had matching body color). New radiator belts and hosesNew water pumpRebuilt Carburetor (original carb rebuilt)New front wheel bearings, seals and front CV axleNew Ball JointsNew brakes with calipers and hosesNew power booster, master cylinder and proportioning valveNew A/C compressor, VIR valve and Compressor Relay and hoses (retained original fittings and replaced factory r12 hoses with r134a impermeable hoses)New tires (Extra Load rated) handles the heavy car very wellNew exhaust systemNew stabilizer end linksNew ShocksNew Door and Trunk sealsNew Trunk liner KitNew Hood and Trunk EmblemsNew rear glass window in the convertible topRebuilt the original 8 track stereo (hidden CD player added in the trunk and plays through FM station dialed in on the radio) This Cadillac is ready to go for anyone who wants one of the last of the big Caddy convertibles. It drives wonderfully, quiet smooth just like it was built to do. All the hard and expensive work was taken care of and the only thing left is to enjoy it. It can be a Parade Queen (hard boot included) or load up the family and go cruising anywhere in style and comfort. Whomever buys this car is getting a great value as most other Cadillac Eldo’s out there haven’t been gone through like this one. Take it from me as I have seen many and know what I am looking at. Every repair on this car was made with the mindset of trying to preserve as much of the originality as reasonably possible. Most often you either find a rare extremely low mileage preserved gem (and the price tag to go with it) or you find a basket case that was hacked together to look saleable. Not often do you find a quality car at this condition level still in the driver car price range. No feeling guilty about driving this one and it will still compete with the best preserved examples at the car shows. This is the one to own! I encourage you to inspect the car in person. I have nothing to hide. Please understand though that this is nearly a 40 year old classic and no warrantee or guarantees are implied. The car is sold in good faith as is where is.
