I am selling it during a full frame off nut & bolt restoration... 1954 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible for sale In the early 50's Cadillac had just recently surpassed Packard as being the premiere luxury car builder in North America, producing some incredible cars and what would become famous styling features. For 1954 Cadillac unveiled 2nd year flagship model Eldorado with incredible features and styling, from wrap around windshields to the early days of the finned 50's, a full complement of power features such as power seats, windows, convertible tops and signal seeking radios and 331 cu in engines. The popularity of this model only grew as years went on. This is one of only 2,150 produced for this model year. All the brilliant styling characteristics of the 50's can be found starting with the re chromed front and rear bumpers with the exhaust exiting through the dual rear outlets.Fender skirts, Autronic-Eye, power windows, power seats, power steering, power brakes with chrome wire wheels and wide white wall tires. Mechanically this car features the 331 cu in, V8 engine and Hydra Matic transmission, all matching. When new these cars were a true sign of class and social significance, to this day they have an incredible presence which is impossible to ignore. This car represents a great opportunity to obtain a rare example of a desirable model . Great for the enthusiast looking to finish the restoration and save lots of $$$$$ for the collector searching for an example of 50's ingenuity and styling! The car has been finished in Apollo Gold with a Beautiful deep clear finish. The frame was sand blasted and powdered coated satin black, along with all A-arms, springs front and rear. Complete new exhaust system was installed with mufflers and resonators. New brake shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder and spring kits where installed and were bled and adjusted for perfect stopping.. Original radiator was completely rebuilt and added extra rows for maximum cooling.. You want to be cool and so does your car.. All 5 original wire wheel were taken apart and re chromed and reassemble and trued for smooth ride. Installed brand new Coker wide whitewall tires..Car comes with the original 3 piece Parade hard boot, Aluminum floor mats also the original clock was completely rebuilt. The under side of hood was painted gloss black, color sanded and rubbed out and then a vinyl engine hood insulation was installed as it was in 1954.. All gold was re plated as where the chrome, even the convertible top bows and arms were taken apart chrome and re riveted. To my knowledge the lowest mileage original Cadillac convertible in the country. There has been no repaint, remodel or body work done on the car. Paint is beautiful body is straight and the 4100 motor runs great and transmission shifts flawlessly. The top is original and in perfect shape. Due to age I have replaced ball joints, tie rod ends, rubber bushings, front axles and boots, 4 tires, water pump radiator and fuel pump. I had the brake lines flushed and new fluid installed. I had the A/C compressor, dryer and filter replaced to accommodate current EPA approved freon. The car has original radio with cassette and all the factory power options. The car is a real Biarritz as identified by vin #. First year for Cadillac to reintroduce a convertible since 1976. Original price was $33,000.00. I have original sales slip and factory provided books and owners manual. I purchased the car in 1999 with 22, 400 miles on it from the original owner who really was a little old lady who drove it only on Sundays. She never drove it if it rained and cleaned it with Q tips. The car has always been garaged and well maintained. There is no guessing what the reserve is or trying to be highest bidder as it is a fixed price sale and will be sold to the first winning bidder. The car is also for sale locally in Houston area so sale may end early. This would make a great Christmas present your self or that special person. RELISTED 1973 Cadillac Eldorado convertible 103,000 Miles, white with navy blue interior, white top. I bought this car about 2 months ago because it was too good of a deal to pass up. The guy I bought it from just had a $6,500 paint job put on it and $3,000 worth of interior put in it. It came down to the mechanical part left and he had ran out of money. I bought it cheap, replaced the points with a Petronix Electronic Ignition and nice plug wires. Now it starts and runs like a champ. I have replaced every light on it. The paint job is really nice, not a scratch or dent on it. It starts good, runs good, stops good, steers, good, horn works, needs tires and a back window, top works -goes up and down but has 1 tear and could use replaced just from age, dash is perfect. Looking to just make a few bucks. Reserve is low. This car is not perfect but good enough to impress and be very cool. If you don't have the money please do not bid.

This"final convertible" has an 8.2 liter, 500 cu in. engine, four wheel discbrakes.It is in good condition for a 40 year old American Classic. It is an olderamateur restoration. Here's the bad news...It has some minor paint blistersin a couple spots the worst being on the drivers side rear quarter, which ispictured. It needs 4 new tires, as they don't match. It could use a new top,or if someone is handy they may be able to re-stitch a couple of the seamsand clean it up. The back window on the drivers side will not go down (itwas working fine last month when I drove it on a long Sunday drive) Thetransmission selector needle needs attention (it doesn't move) Here's thegood... 1972 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible project car. 73,730. Miles. Fresh out of barn storage. License plate last registered in 1997. Good looking car with nice top. This car was in storage a long time. Last winter an animal got in through the back window and ruined the interior. The original bench seat interior was a greenish tan leather. A tan leather split bench seat interior from another 72 comes with this car. Last week I installed a small gas tank under the hood and drove it around my parking lot and parked it in my shop. Here's the things I've found that it needs so far. #1. Gas tank. #2. Brakes. #3. Back glass and top well. #4. Interior redyed and installed. #5. New carpet. #6. Floors patched. Holes under pedals and under spare tire. #7.Tires. They look good , but very, very old. #8. Exhaust system replaced. #9. Dash pad has damage from animal. #10. Dent on Left fender by cornering light. #11. Needs battery. #12. There's going to be more things yet to be found. This car has great potential to be a nice cruiser. This car is sold “as is”. NO REFUNDS. INFORMATION ON THE 1975 CADILLAC ELDORADO: FLEETWOOD ELDORADO The Eldorado lost its rear fender skirts this season and saw a major facelift, as well. Square headlamps were new. Wrap-around cornering lamps were gone, being replaced by a narrow, rectangular type, housed in the front fender tips. The parking lamps and directionals were placed in the bumper ends. Larger rear quarter windows appeared on the coupe and a new cross hatch grille was used on both styles. The rear fender wells were enlarged, causing the horizontal belt molding to end just ahead of the wheel openings. On the coupes, Fleetwood ornaments decorated the roof "C" pillar. Front-wheel-drive technology was retained.

Prior owner a Cadillac/LaSalle member for 30+ years. All original except one mirror-black repaint. A perfect and majestic automobile. The hard boot makes this 8.2 liter look like the speed boat it is. This year was the beginning of the 71-76 run Eldorado. This was the pure unaltered beginning. Original red leather, supple and soft, no cracks or tears. Carpet in the same condition. Door panels, steering wheel, dash pad all like new and original.
