Field fresh 1961 Buick Electra 225 with factory A/C. DOES NOT RUN. Been sitting since the 1980s. Complete all-original car, solid except for the trunk floor. Nailhead intact, carburetor was removed at some point. Factory air car, full power, pillarless four-door hardtop. Optional rear floor mat, all stainless, trim and emblems intact. PS, PB, PW, Power driver seat, navy colored cloth interior, Two side view mirrors, extremely minor surface rust, rear bumper damage, very little body work needed. This car has been in the same family since new and has been stored in a barn for over 30 years. Originally titled in Texas, brought to Pennsylvania and placed in storage. The paint job got ruined by bat droppings while being kept in storage. It also has a slow drain on the battery, so when parking for a long term the battery cable should be disconnected. Most of the rubber parts like the hoses, fuel pump and brake parts have been replaced. The brake pedal does not return to upper position after being pushed, and I don't know what is causing that, this also causes the brake lights to stay on. You can manually pull the brake pedal up with your foot and the brake light goes off. If you would like to see the car, you are welcome to contact me to make arrangements. Classic "Duece and a Quarter" 1976 Buick Electra Limited Coupe. Paint otherwise in good condition. - Leather hard top is clean and in great shape, the top was sealed properly no leakage. - There are no major scratches, paint appears to be in good condition. Tires: - Tires are 20" Mickey Thompson ( Brand New ) - Rims are aftermarket, original wheels unavailable. Interior: - The unlock/lock pull up control is broken on the top of each door. - Cloth interior well kept. - Wood Trimmings very unique. - Carpet well maintained. Mechanical: - There is a skip in the engine suspected to be as a result of the carb being cleaned out. The engine functions properly besides the skip, as demonstrated in the video. - The transmission shifts out perfectly without hesitation. - A/C blows cold. - Odometer is broken, reported mileage 91288. How do you not fall in love with an old classic Buick Convertible like this. This car has had one respray in it's life and it presents very well and is miles deep. The fit and finish on this car is as good as it gets. The interior of this car is as big as your house. The front and back seats are in great shape, and are as big as your old leather love seats. This car just begs you to slide in and just lean back and cruise. Just set the tilt wheel where you need it, and get ready to throw your arm around your honey, or just go cruising for some because this car draws the ladies. The top works just like it should and is in great shape. Top up or top down, this baby looks sweet. Under the hood is the original Buick 430 with a 4 barrel carb that puts out about 400 HP. This is mated to the original trans and rear end as well. As you will see in the photos, you are not going to eat your dinner off the under carriage, but everything is clean under there. Once you hit the key and fire this beauty up you will hear some nice rumble coming out of the back to let you know there is a little power under the hood, but not enough noise to where you have to yell over the exhaust.
