Beautiful Interlargos Blue M3 with gray leather and 6 speed SMG transmission. This car is showing 215k on the odometer but has a 05 engine that was swapped in with 56k miles (17k miles ago. Car is sitting on a KW coilover se, has 08 M3 wheels, brand new (never tuched asphalt) Yokohama Neova AD08R's 245/40/18's in th front and 265/40/18's in the rear, M5 brakes and a full Remus exhaust with carbon fiber tips. The suspension was installed by Irish Mike racing and the car was corner balanced. Would make a great weekend track toy or a super fun daily driver that you can buy now for less than a used Ford Focus. The bad.... I installed the Yokohama tires about 6 months ago and literally drove the car from the back of my shop to our showroom. The next day when I went to pull it out it stalled hard and would not restart I hooked it to the scan tool and got code 59 (clutch actuation dynamic). After doing quite a bit of searching on the M3 forums I found a guy that had the exact same issue that I had. It was the ball pin that holds the clutch fork broke allowing the fork to hit the pressure plate. I am not 100% certian this is what happend but to read his post about what happened to his and what happened to mine are identical. I went ahead and purchased a new slave cylinder (in case($200) and Hydrolic actuator (in case $2100) with hoses for the car when I got around to replaceing the clutch and ball pin..... and that is where the story stops I have never gotten around to replacing it so I am going to test the waters here and let you all have the chance to own this iconic BMW. The SMG pump is good and I can hook my scanner to the car to show anyone who wants to see the code that is in the ECU and cycle the pump. I do have paperwork on the engine replacement to show where the used engine was installed. The car is dusty in the pictures but the paint is beautiful and only has minor rock chips on the front airdam. The wheels are also perfect with no rash on any of them.

Let me not insult you by reciting the many engineering specifics of the M3 which add to its style, comfort, drivability, and performance. They are well documented in many industry magazines. If you are a serious lover of older BMW's you will know immediately that this one is exceptional. This one stands out with only 81,376 miles. This vehicle is currently owned by a local business man, who has babied this gem from when he became its second owner at 25,000 miles. He has asked me to list it for him. As my feedback supports, you can bid with confidence knowing the car has been honestly and accurately described. The clean Virginia title is in hand, so there will be no holdup upon purchase. Lets talk about this one...... Exceptional is the adjective that comes to mind. The body integrity is almost flawless. Being a 'country car' you will find the exterior absent the classic door dings, or curb rash that is common in 'city' driven vehicles. There has been paint work on the right side from an impact with a wandering deer, one of the dangers of 'country' driving. The body shop did an excellent job. I could only find one small rock chip on the front bumper. The Titanium Silver paint sparkles like new. All glass is clear -- without cracks or chips. The Dove Grey leather interior is clean and subtle. It does show some slight wear on the driver's side arm rest and seat bolster. The Vadar front seats are heated! The carpets are clean. They show no wear. The head liner is sagging. It is more pronounced just aft of the sunroof. This is shown in my photos. This is a common problem in the E36b series. The shifter knob does show normal wear. And the last interior flaw is that the driver seat recline is inoperable. This can be corrected easily with a forty dollar part! The GOOD news is; no warning lights on the dash, and all original systems operate as expected. The A/C is cold and the heat is warm. All window regulators work. The sunroof opens but it has a fragile way about it. The responsive six cylinder engine roars like tiger making this car fun to drive. The handling is tight and responsive. There are no undesirable knocks, hisses, rattles, or leaks! The clutch is strong. The transmission shifts through the gears without slips or grinds. The original feel and performance remain in part because of the pampered use, timely maintenance, and low mileage. The battery is new. The Fuzion ZRi 235/40/R17 tires are practically new. I estimate the tread remaining is 90% -- both front and rear. The original equipment 6 disk CD changer (mounted in the trunk) does operate! The owner has installed and aftermarket intake and xenon headlights. The OEM equipment is available if you desire. Please bid to own this vehicle. This is a Super Nice, well taken care of BMW M3 Convertible. It has XM Sat Radio installed, BSW 10" Free Air Sub-Woofer and Amplifier, connected to the factory sound system. It has Brand New Yokohama avid envigor tires all the way around. Please notice that there is a slight amount of curb rash on the under lip of the front passenger side bumper. For sale is my 1998 BMW M3 convertible, 106,xxx miles, automatic transmission. Cosmos black over Mulberry grey. The good:-Brand new rear tires (Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06).-Brand new brakes on all four corners (OEM rotors with Hawk HPS pads).-Rebuilt front calipers.-New rear vinyl window. In the last two years of ownership I have replaced the following components:-Radiator-Thermostat (the housing is original but shows no signs of fatigue or cracks)-Sway bar end-links-Sparkplugs-Valve cover gasket-Camshaft position sensor-Serpentine belts, tensioner pulley, and idler pulley-Regular oil changes with Mobil 1 synthetic 0w-40 -The car recently underwent a professional paint correction by TLC Auto Detailing in Chantilly, VA.-I have an extra M Contour wheel that is scratched but suitable for a spare, in addition to the full-size spare the car has already.-Inspected 07/15. The not so good:-All of the power seat adjustments work flawlessly except for the driver and passenger seatback height adjustments. The fuses are good, and my testing on the passenger side seatback motor revealed it's getting ground and power (a full 12.6 volts) from the switch. Neither motor makes noise when you attempt to move the seats. Based on the above, I suspect both motors are bad.-The convertible top operates well, but you occasionally have to give it a hand by pushing on the rear window so the top-storage cover clears it on its way up. The tension straps that normally pull the window up are slightly stretched.-The car sometimes throws a code for "Secondary air system," which means the secondary air pump is on its way out. I have not addressed this issue because it doesn't affect performance at all; the function of the secondary air pump is simply to lower startup emissions.

You would be hard pressed to find an E92 M3 that is cleaner and better maintained for sale anywhere. No expense was spared in the modification and care of this M3. The attention to detail in the choice of parts and their installation is clear from the moment you lay eyes on the car. The current mileage is 14,272 and may increase slightly before being sold. I am the second owner and bought the car with 8,900 miles. The car is still under BMW’s factory warranty until November 2015.
