All original 1996 Z3. The car has only two flaws which can be seen in the pictures, both of which were there when I bought the car a year ago. There is a small dent in the nose, there are a couple of scratches on the lower edge of the spoiler and a few barely visible scratches in a couple of places. No other dents or dings. The car has been garaged since new. 1996 BMW Z3 Roadster in excellent condition with two exceptions. There are no Check Engine, Warning or Airbag lights on. This car runs like a top and gets about 30 MPG. 1996 BMW Z3 Roadster is in nice condition. Brand new tires, new wheels, Mobil1 Synthetic Oil, Power Windows, Power locks, 5 speed manual transmission in excellent shape. This car runs like a top and gets 30 MPG (most of my driving is at highway speeds in a rural area, so it is a mix of highway and city driving). Just passed a rigorous Virginia State Inspection in May so that testifies to its road worthiness. Nice cold air conditioning, cruise control that works perfectly, and an AM/FM/CD player by Sony. Real wood interior accents as well. The car has an onboard computer that computes MPG, MPH, exterior temp, time of day and miles until tank is empty. This car has only one less than perfect aspect other than typical stone chips and a few minor dings: the passenger leather seat has a crack in it from sun exposure. I plan to get a neutral color leather patch and place it right over top of it to cover up its flaw. You can buy seat covers if you want but I like the way the OEM leather seats look instead. The rag top is in good condition and does not need to be replaced. The rear plastic window does not have any tears or gouges and is 8/10 in clarity. I bought plastic window cleaner from a guy on eBay and it made it look almost perfectly clear. One more application would be just like new but I ran out of the product which costs about $8. This car is 19 years old and is great shape for its age. I cut out my own floor mats with some very expensive wool sisal carpet that I got from a 5 Star Hotel. It matches and I think adds a cool look. Of course you could always purchase new ones on eBay for $75 and it would be back to OEM. Please bare in mind that this vehicle is one year away from being considered an antique and though it retains its amazing BMW majestic look, there is bound to be some small dings and small scratches. I will do touch ups before you receive the car so hopefully you won't even notice any. There is a small tiny door ding about the size of a pea on the back driver side but again, I don't think it is a big deal. The cargo area where the spare tire tools are at one time had water in that area and it got dirty, but whatever leak there used to be is long gone because it is dry as can be even in heavy rain. But the price of the car reflects these minor flaws. I am happy to answer any and all questions you may have and provide. In 2007 the car was in a front end accident and was given a salvage title which was turned to a rebuilt title after it was perfectly repaired. For 8 years this car has been driving great so don't let the rebuilt title scare you a bit. I have been driving this vehicle for a few hundred miles and fine tuning any aspects that need attention. If you would like to have it inspected by a professional, I would recommend One Stop Automotive of Front Royal who works on all of my vehicles. They are very reasonable and would charge about $50 for a top to bottom inspection. I am happy to arrange this for you because they are thorough, honest and easy to work with. Age defying 1997 BMW Z3 Roadster 2.8L in superb condition and ready to roll. This car has been meticulously taken care of and garage kept. It is an upgraded OEM paint Forest Green (looks almost black depending on the time of day) with beige leather interior and many recent upgrades that makes the interior especially nice. The seats were replaced recently so they are in GREAT condition with no rips, tears or stains. These seats are heated so when the weather is a bit cooler its nice to warm your bum. Upgraded wood touches on the gear shifter, emergency brake and dash. Includes a Pioneer FM/CD/USB/SAT ready system with 250 watt amp in the trunk. This car hums like it doesn't know the words and has a pleasant growl. 152k miles but shows like much less. Just had a MOBIL 1 Synthetic oil change, newly inspected May 2016, 4 nice tires and a brand new thermostat put on this week. Amazing premium wheels in PERFECT condition (no curb rash or flaws) with Z rated tires. Front tires are 225/40/17 and rear tires are 245/40z/17. Comes with extra front tire with very good tread remaining. This car was LOWERED so it has a sick profile. The car just had a four-wheel alignment and comes with a FRESH inspection STICKER on it. You can see in the picture that the engine and struts have an upgraded strut brace that makes the car even more stable. This was a $500 upgrade alone. The convertible top is in excellent condition with no rips or tears and the rear window is nice and clear. Windshield wipers are great too, darn it! I love when they just glide across that windshield without burping and complaining. Comes with high quality coconut fiber floor mats for a cool look and feel. With those nice tires, low profile, clean interior and sweet engine this car is just beautiful. Includes an upgrade to an on board computer which calculates MPH, MPG, miles remaining in tank and temperature. It even comes with the ORIGINAL window sticker showing the original price as $39,000! Emblem was replaced so all four look great. After all these years there's bound to be some things that aren't purty about it, right? Here is what's not: There is some clear coat peeling on the back trunk lid and the back bumper. Buffed it out and while it is still noticeable it is not an eye sore. But when it rains, it disappears like magic. See the pictures. The struts, shocks and springs ride fine so it feels nice but every once in a while you will hear a thud when you hit a big bump due to being lowered. I had this checked out and there is nothing wrong with the car it is just that it was lowered. There are a few tiny dings but nothing that will alarm you or make you mad. I have the Carfax report for the vehicle which shows NO ACCIDENTS, locally owned and driven, 3 owners with the last one owning it for 6 years. Carfax appraised the vehicle to be worth $800 over the retail price due to its care and condition. So the appraised value is $5711 and I am asking $200 less than the appraisal. Once you drive this thing you will get "the bug" and want to drop that top every chance you can.
