BMW 740iL automatic, vehicle running and drives, but has transmission issues that started as of a couple of weeks ago. the scanner has a code for a trans module fail but Will most likely have to be rebuilt or replaced. it does drive while in fail safe mode. As described it is a '01 model daily driver and it shows, right side has a rash in the front and rear passenger door and a dent in the front hood, the left rear window motor works but doesn't pull down the window sounds like the windo came unhooked, headliner sags in rear other than that the paint still shines. it get alot of compliments. good price for the state the car its in. Vehicle is located in Chicago, Il and the buyer will have to come to pick up vehicle to transfer title. title in hand ready for its new owner the engine is very strong less than a year ago changed all seals and gaskets and tune up a couple months ago. any question feel free to contacnt me 773-983-3705 and thank you for looking.

Hi, up for Sale is a beautiful 2001 BMW 740iL. Very well cared for and very clean. Minimal wear on the driver seat. Get in and drive anywhere is comfort and style. Always serviced regularly and by no means ever neglected. Suspension is ridiculously smooth. Soaks up bumps exactly as it should. No weird noises or rattles. Has to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated. Very minor cosmetic flaws here and there but overall looks incredible. Freshly waxed and serviced. Could use an alignment soon, glove box lock is broken, everything else that I can think of works. Engine is and transmission are perfectly smooth. I had fixed a couple of expensive parts,like lower end idlers,new brakes. Car now runs perfect.i did buy a Cadillac sls for a winter car and prefer the lower costs of going domestic and simpler. I still don't know how to use all the options on the BMW.It does does have a lot of power,and shifts smoothly and no shimmer to steering wheel,body has no rust or dents,should maybe be rubbed out,i did a fast wax. Leather seats are comfortable and it has the telescopic steering wheel and power seats. Save thousands over new has everything computerized,did pull the fuse on the navigation since its obsolete and relaced it with my personal one,no rust garage keep.Was going to drive in winter and bought very expensive mille migli Italian rims with new snows,but went for the front wheel caddy.Am amicble to reasonable offers ,realize I spent $5000 for the custom wheels and correct repairs,also leaving for florida and the smaller car is more preferable unless you like paying valets.
