2000 BMW 750iL V-12 Powered 180 MPH Super CarRust Free Texas CarExtremely Rare Before I go into the the description of the car... please let me preface the listing just a bit. I'm an avid BMW collector/ enthusiast and am also an ASE Master Mechanic. I own 5 BMW 750iL's, and have owned a total of 10 BMW 7 series cars in the past. So, with that background, you can imagine that I know these cars quite well, inside and out. I personally believe that the 7 series BMW 750iL is one of the best cars that BMW ever built. It is very reliable, gets great gas mileage for a V-12, and has outstanding performance and handling characteristics. This 750iL sold for well over $100,000 dollars when new, making it a bargain of all time to be able to own one today for less than 1/10th of it's original retail price. With that said... please read the entirety of my listing below: Up for sale is my 2000 BMW 750iL Sport V-12 180 MPH super car. Super low miles at only 118K miles on the car. The car is a TEXAS car, and therefore NO rust of any kind whatsoever! The color is what BMW calls "Stahl Grau" ( Steel Gray). This is a CUSTOM color that had to be chosen by buyer when it was new.... it was a SPECIAL ORDER color, which added alot of cost to the purchase price of the car. If you are reading this ad, then you most likely know what this car is. The list of options on the car is literally endless... I'm not sure if there is enough room to list it all... but I'll list ( from memory) the more important options. Leather seats, leather dash, leather door panels, power windows, door locks, alarm system, CD player, Navigation screen , Premium sound system, cruise control, heated steering wheel, heated seats, headlight fluid washers, parking control sensors ( front and rear) , EDC (Electronic Damping Control), air conditioning ( works great) heat ( works great) , Xenon self leveling headlights, stereo volume controls on steering wheel, M-Parallel sport wheels, front and rear disc brakes , automatic trunk closing function, Sunroof, tinted glass, double pane glass, the list goes on and on.The car is a 2 owner car, the original owner being a physician and the 2nd owner a 747 airline pilot. The car has been 100% garaged at all times when not being driven. ALL the power options work on the car, including the automatic rear sunshade. The car has leather seats, as well as door panels, AND dash... all hand stitched leather. This car is an amazing automotive engineering marvel. No wonder why it sold for $100,000 when new in 2000. Only a very elite few were wealthy enough to be able to afford such an amazing machine. Maintenance: The car has been highly maintained it's entire lifetime by people who spared no expense in keeping the car in perfect working order. The original owner was a physician , and the 2nd owner was a 747 jet pilot. That should give you an idea of the type of care the car has received. The second owner had the transmission fluid changed every 30,000 miles. The last fluid change was at 100,000 miles..... just 18k miles ago. BTW....... BMW claims that the transmission is "sealed" and has a "lifetime" fluid, and never needs to be changed. This is not correct, as ZF, the German manufacturer of the transmission says otherwise. They claim it should be changed every 30k to 40k miles. So, rest assured.... this car has received the very best maintenance that money can buy. The engine oil was just changed about 500 miles ago with Mobil 1 full synthetic oil, and Hengst ( German made) OEM oil filter. The coolant / antifreeze was just changed 400 miles ago, using genuine BMW blue coolant. Both air filters ( this car has 2 air filters) were just changed 200 miles ago, using MAHLE ( Austrian made) filters. The V-12 engine runs perfectly and smooth. The transmission shifts flawlessly as it should. Steering has NO play in it , and the suspension is smooth and supple. Brakes are super strong, with no issues whatsoever. The car has brand new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires on it, these tires cost $250 EACH. Mated to the BMW M-Parallel sport wheels. This car is a "Sport" edition, which was a very expensive option. Only about 220 BMW 750iL cars were imported into the USA in 2000, making it one of the rarest BMW's ever made. The body of the car has ZERO dents, ZERO rust, and near perfect paint. It's doubtful that you'd find another 2000 BMW 750iL in this condition for the price. Any flaws that the car does have, are extremely minor in magnitude: i.e. glove box lock is not working... and won't allow opening of box until replaced. There are the very common pixels missing is display as well.... which is very easily remedied by sending the cluster off the BBA Re-manufacturing to make it like new again..... they charge $160 for that service. The car comes with a FULL set of original owners manuals ( not pictured ) Asking $9500 for the car... and considering it's condition and the original retail price of $100,000..... you tell me if that sounds like a fair price. Please contact me via eBay messages with any questions you may have before hitting the Buy It Now...... or making an offer. Also... if you would like photos of any areas of the car not included in the listing, please message me and I'll take a photo and send it via eBay messages to you. I want the buyer of this car to be 100% satisfied with the purchase. This is a truly wonderful car, and will last for many, many years to come.
