By declaring a car "Total Loss”, the Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that mean the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it. We have bought 'Total Loss" cars from Insurance companies with door dings, extremely minor fender bender, theft recovered vehicles with absolutely no damage. We purchased this vehicle from an auction that said it was hit in the front and had minor dents and scratches. When this car arrived at our location, we looked it over and could find no damage anywhere. Sometimes insurance companies total vehicles out with out any damage, rarely ever happens. We then sold this car to the owner's brother-in-law who has been driving it for the past year with no problems. Great parts car For sale is a 1997 vw jetta. Complete rebuilt head , timing belt, water pump, oil pump and new brakes rotors, calipers, pads new rear brakes new battery all of done within past year. Now the bad, headlights, glove box and grill are gone, hood is off a different car, radiator has a small drip near bottom. Rear sway bar bushing are shot , or a broken shock, tires are in need of replacing. Windshield is badly cracked ,good project car or parts car, interior is in decent shape driver seat a little worn with a tear. It does start and drives but the rear end feels like it has either bad bushings or broken shock, not really sure. . Email with any questions Buyer is responsible for delivery of car to your place. At present the car is not safe for long travel. car is located in Michigan so if you are from out of state getting the car back to your location is some thing you need to consider before placing an offer. No games I have had a lot of people submit offers and never follow up so don't waste my time or yours.

Nice 2000 Volkswagen Jetta This car looks runs and drives good the paint and interior looks good also as you can tell by the pictures ,but it does need a little work but at this price well worth it, the Abs light is on but brakes work good,heater fan switch does not work but the heater puts out hot air,the windshield is cracked ,exhaust a little noisy sounds like is leaking at the manifold but exhaust system is OK but overall a nice little car that gets real good gas mileage.
