This is the one that you have been waiting for....and at the right price. The Triumph TR6 is one of the most undervalued British Classic Roadsters. I especially like this model year as it does not have the unsightly "battering ram" bumpers. The rear luggage rack also provides a super nice finish to the rear of the vehicle and this roadster also has OEM Michelin "redline" tubed tires. I purchased this vehicle from my father in August 1987. He had purchased the vehicle as a demo in August 1973. Therefore, this beauty has been in our family for over 42 years. This car has been lovingly cared for and restored as needed. It's in excellent shape having been restored and gently used only on weekends during the warmer months. The car even has the Michelin Redline tires which were original equipment when the car was manufactured. Cosmetics: Very Good paint job with a few imperfections, but it still shines like it was just off of the showroom floor. Rare Sapphire Blue with Shadow Blue interior make this a real head turner. Not a day went by that people did not stop me and comment what a beautiful car. Pictures reveal a restored interior that remains in great shape where all of the gauges work and there are no cracks in the black foam top and lower crash rails. Seats, panels, wood dash, etc all in very good condition as the photographs confirm. Mechanicals: Runs great, has excellent oil pressure and does not smoke. Engine head and valves were rebuilt not that long ago (mileage wise). Transmission and clutch are in great shape. Brakes have been redone and the dual carbs have also been rebuilt and work great. The radiator has been re-cored, the battery is a newer model and trickle charged during the winter months and the fuel pump is also new. Engine head and valves have also bee replaced within the past 2 years. Engine bay has been detailed and is very presentable. All in all this is a very nice TR6 in one of the best and rarest color combinations. Although the convertible top is included, it is in fair condition. For additional information feel free to email me and I would be happy to answer all serious questions. Terms: $2,000 deposit must be paid within 2 days of auction close and payment in full due within 6 days. Sold "as is" with no guarantees of course...after all, the car is over 40 years old! I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION AT ANYTIME as car is also for sale locally and will be sold to the highest bidder. Buyer is responsible for all taxes, title and registration fees.
