1975 Triumph Spitfire 1500; only 3,000 miles since a frame up restoration starting in 2003 through 2009; new top and interior; electric overdrive; dual carbs and exhaust. It cost me over $40K to rebuild the car primarily because I used so many new parts. I replaced the springs, shocks, radiator, all new brakes and brake lines, new wiring, new windshield, etc., too many to list. I originally bought this car because the body had very little rust and then spent $12,000 on the body work and paint alone. The Spitfire has a classic look and was designed by an Italian.
