(152 C.I.) 106 BHP Original Stromberg (SU) Carburetors 4 Speed Transmission Highlights: This Florida car was restored to its factory new form with the original white color (Color Code 19). The engine bay is highly detailed and looks as it did when it came from the factory. In addition to the frame-off restoration (have pics of the restoration), it was mechanically redone as well; new brakes, shocks, suspension, new brake and fuel lines, etc. All the lights, horn, turn signals ('trafficators' as the Brits referred to them) all work. The green hoses and ignition wires are correct. The radiator and air cleaner are original as are the SU (rebuilt) carburetors. The interior is all new and 100% correct to the car, except for the (working) aftermarket radio. The car has its original steering wheel (replacing the one shown in the pic) that has no cracks or tears in the leather. The wood dash insert is beautiful with no cracks. All the original Smith gauges work. The dash pad is new with no cracks. The carpet, door panels and vinyl seat coverings are all new. The paint is shiny and overall very nice, with no chips, dents or paint runs. The convertible top is new. The back plastic window is clear with no scratches. The weather stripping was all replaced. The windshield is in good condition with no scratches and only minor pitting. The door windows are new. The bumpers are new and are bright and shiny. The trunk is correctly detailed. The underside was restored to factory correctness. The car starts every time and runs smoothly. The transmission shifts smoothly. Oil pressure is 70 + pounds cold and 50+ pounds when car is at temperature and being driven. It runs cool in the hottest of weather. It is a very pleasant car to drive. While it won't burn up the road under acceleration, it does corner like few cars of its day or even today for that matter. While you have probably heard all the rumors about how terrible the Lucas electrical systems were, I can honestly tell you I have never experienced any problems with it on these car. New wiring harnesses might have a lot to do with this no hassle performance. Listing of Restoration Highlights: Driveline components rebuilt; transmission, clutch, rear-end, & U joints All new body mounts All new brake components, including new master cylinder, calibers, rotors, pads & rubber & hard lines All new suspension components, including shocks, springs, tie rods, link pins, sway bar bushings, etc. New stock exhaust system All new interior….carpet, seat foam & vinyl, dash, seat belts, mirrors, visors, handles, knobs, switches, etc Both bumpers are new New convertible top New door glass Aftermarket wheels to enhance the car's appearance Trunk is detailed with new carpet & panels & working light fixture. New door assembles, window roll up channels, hood and trunk closure assemblies, etc All new wiring harnesses This is a very nice car that can be driven and taken to the weekend car shows. It is a blast to drive. TR6s are steadily appreciating in value as enthusiasts find out about their value compared to the much pricier British sports cars of the era. It is a very sound car that if taken care of will provide a good investment. I encourage you to come and take a look and test drive this sports car.
