The total power for this powertrain is almost 140 horsepower and it is capable of offering around 110 lb-ft of torque. Even though it isn’t the most powerful family saloon, it manages to be the most fuel efficient hybrid car on the market today, meaning that it is easily capable of delivering more than 55 miles to the gallon with ease. Also, an update of the model which is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2015 will improve the fuel consumption to nearly 60 miles to the gallon.Unlike other hybrid models, the Prius travels on electricity only until it gets to around 16 miles per hour which gives it an edge when it comes to city driving because it doesn’t make any sound.This behavior continues on the highway, the 2015 Prius Persona Series Special Edition being one of the most silent cars on the road today, the only real sound in the interior being that of the audio system and nothing more.EXTERIOROn the exterior, the Persona Series Edition features a few upgrades which are either unavailable on the standard model or cost a lot more than it. It features a unique set of 17 inch wheels which are painted in a metallic gray color which seems a lot like graphite. These come with the same set of low rolling resistance tires which are not only quiet but also offer the best fuel efficiency out there. Other distinctive features of the new edition include two new paint schemes, Blizzard Pearl and Absolutely Red, both of them being only available with this particular model. However, the Blizzard Pearl is a 400 dollars extra which gives it a slightly upmarket feel.INTERIOR2015 Toyota Prius Persona Series interior is also going to be slightly upgraded in order to give its passengers a much better ride. The first upgrade which took place here is the upholstery which now uses a much better quality fabric as well as gray stitching which gives it a really nice feel. Also, the infotainment system has been updated with the RDS radio as well as the new MP3 audio system which can read music from your iPod or your mobile phone.
