This Pruis has mileage readings of 100mpg for 24 miles (see photos) of low speed driving before Hymotion lithium battery is deplete and the Prius traction battery resumes normal operation. The Hymotion kit was costly, as the kit sells on ebay for $3500. This kit is installed and working great. The kit allows the Prius to run as an elecrtic vehicle for 20 plus miles per four hour charge. Please research "Plug in Hybrid Kits from Hymotion", or contact me with questions. The addition of the battery pack does not change the basic operation of the Prius -- all electric-operation is still limited to low speeds -- though it does significantly increase the power and range in which the battery can help the gas engine along (thus reducing gas consumption even further). I usually get about 200MPG average and I charge my cars from Solar power so I am getting my electricity free from the sun. Range Unlike pure electric cars like Tesla or Nissan Leaf, This car can fuel up at any gas station on low octane or better fuel and drive without any restrictions. No worry about how far your driving range is before you have to charge because you never need to charge this car unless you want to. This car is very powerful and features a 1.8 liter gas engine running in parallel with a powerful electric motor. The electric motor by itself is powerful enough to move the car with brisk acceleration and if the driver presses the Power mode button then you have a very responsive beast of an automobile. The car is fully capable to drive at speeds in excess of the posted 80mph speed limits that are only in certain states. This car is designed to be a fuel saving car without giving up the luxuries. HOV Stickers This California Prius Plug-in’s driver gets a very special perk of being allowed to drive alone in the HOV diamond lanes on freeways and bridges. HOV lanes normally require that 2 or 3 people must be present in the vehicle to use those lanes but this car has been granted status by state law to let its driver travel alone in any HOV lane alone at any time day or night. This is specially permitted by state law to display the Green Stickers and carry a HOV Lane Permit Document. Even better the Governor has now removed the 2019 expiration date so you can continue to use the Green Stickers until the law changes. This is a BIG-Deal because time is money. Everything is in perfect working order and the car drives great. The vehicle will be sold with a clean Florida title. Please read below for a more detailed description. Exterior Condition: Excellent condition with very few flaws. Paint is excellent and showing no oxidation or fading, appears to of been garage kept. A very small amount of wear including small scratches, or marks on the exterior may be present, really nothing noticeable. The cars body is free of any dents or dings. All four tires are matching and appear to be showing around 50% tread life left. Please refer to pictures for more details. Interior Condition: The interior is also in great condition showing very little signs of wear. Carpet, seats and headliner are free of any stains, rips, or tears. No burn holes, no fowl odors. Window tinting is also in good condition, normal wear may be present. Refer to pictures for more details. Mechanical Condition: Mechanically a very sound car, Everything was tested in working order. The Hybrid system works flawlessly and the engine runs very smooth with no knocks, ticks, smoke or anything abnormal. The car has no warning lights on such as check engine, airbag, TPS etc. The Drive is excellent and rides very smooth. Air condition works perfect and gets ICE COLD. Well maintained, and just serviced. Inspections: Inspections are always welcome prior to the end of the auction, if you need transportation from MIA please give us 24hr advanced notice. Shipping: We do not offer shipping, but we will assist with any third party transport companies. If you are flying in, we do offer free pickup from either MIA or FT Lauderdale International Airports. Payments: A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is due immediately after the close of the auction via paypal. The full balance is due within 3 days of the close of the auction.
