2004 Subaru Outback H-6 3.0 Sedan We are pleased to present this exceptional and quite rare 2004 Subaru Outback Sedan. What makes this car quite special is its year, engine, and monotone silver color. 2004 was the final year for this best style of Outback, and to make the cars more interesting, they came out with several unique colors. Silver Monotone with black lower trim was one of these colors. This is actually the first one I've ever seen in person in this color combination. Of course, since it's an H-6, it has the beautiful tan leather interior which are gorgeous. This particular model features the cold weather package, so it has heated leather interior which is my absolute favorite. It is so nice in the winter! Also, exclusive for 2004 are the silver badging on the exterior, and the beautiful 16 inch 2004 exclusive machined alloy wheels. The 2004 models look so much better because of these minor differences. Subarus are known for their world-class sporting performance, and this car is no exception. These also feature Subaru's proven and smooth horizontally opposed 6 cylinder engine which is mated to legendary symmetrical all wheel drive. It is extremely hard to find these Outbacks with the 6 Cylinder engine, and it is definitely the engine to have in this car. It changes the Outback from a fairly ordinary car into a very refined, very smooth luxurious vehicle. The added power allows the engine to work less hard, so in turn it gets about the same gas mileage, too! On top of all of this, the sedans are incredibly rare. A 2004 sedan combined with a 6 cylinder engine gets close to "unicorn" status when it comes to rarity! The taupe leather seats are in very good condition. Even the drivers seat is in great shape. The car has zexel automatic climate control which works properly.This car has the premim audio system with upgraded 11 speakers including a subwoofer which sounds great. It has an in-dash 6 CD Changer. For safety, this Subaru has, of course, dual front airbags, as well as side airbags. The trunk area is in very nice condition. The owners manual booklet is there. It does have a power operated drivers seat. It has an auto-dimming compass mirror. It has the cold weather package which cosists of two stage heated seats, a heated windshield, and heated exterior mirrors. This outback also has the power moonroof which makes the cabin feel open and airy. It works properly and tilts up or slides back under the roof to open fully. It also has the accessory wind deflector for added comfort. The outside of this Outback is beautiful and is finished in the stunning and very very rare color of Monotone Silverstone Metallic with black bare plastic trim on the bottoms of the bupmpers and the rocker panels. Even though I actually worked for Subaru when these cars were new, I have never seen an outback sedan in this color combination until this one became available. This color is really quite striking. The paint is in gorgeous shape, with very few dings, scratches and scrapes. This outback is incredibly rust-free for a Subaru of this age, most likely because the previous owners had an unlimited car wash pass on the car. They definitely kept it clean which contributed to keeping the rust away. However, there are two small rust spots in the typical places above the left rear wheel. The right side is completely rust free. These have actually been touched up, so they're not too noticeable unless you're looking directly at them. Overall the exterior of this Outback is in outstanding shape. t has 16" alloy wheels which are exclusive to the 2004 model year and are machined aluminum with silver painted inserts. They help set it apart from other outbacks. The tires are all matching brand-name tires with greater than half tread remaining. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. The car drives perfectly. The engine and transmission operate properly. This car has had only ONE owner since it was brand new, and it's obvious that they take exceptional care of the car. The condition it is in is exactly the way it was traded in to the Subaru dealership from which we purchased the car. We didn't have to clean anything. It's obvious that the previous owners took very good care of the car. Even the floor mats look almost new! The car drives great and is excellent mechanically.
