Runs great! No rust on exterior. We are listing this below book price because of an oil smell or leak that needs fixed, but other than that this car/truck runs great! If you are good with working on cars, then this is the car for you. A great car/truck and a great investment! We recently got back from Williamsburg, Virginia and it ran great with no problems but it might need head gaskets so it will need to be fixed!My husband was going to fix the oil leak but decided to sell as is since we would have to sell at the going price of Baja's which is over $8000 as you can see by the other listings since they no longer make Subaru Baja's . This way, if you can do the work yourself, you will save some money since the gaskets don't cost that much, it is the labor that is so expensive because it takes time to do all the work needed . There is a hole on the interior back side by the seat that we bought a patch kit for and is included since we decided to sell as is. It is solid underneath. We had a Remote starter installed that is great on those cold winter days when you just want to have your car warmed up!
