1966 was one of the best years for the design team at the Chrysler Corporation. With clean lines and a muscular stance, this Newport is a great combination of luxury and big block performance. The 383 cubic inch V8 runs beautifully, and with new wheels and tires this Chrysler cruises at highway speeds effortlessly. This is the last year for the art deco instrument cluster, including the very distinctive humped dashboard that houses a gun-sight speedometer, conjuring America's obsession with space exploration and flight during the 1960's. This particular Newport is in really nice shape and is ready to drive and enjoy. The lights, radio, windows, wipers, etc. all work as they should. The interior is in extremely nice shape and very comfortable. The guys at Chrysler in the '60's really hit the nail on the head with driver positioning, because from my first drive of this Newport I felt as if I'd owned it for years. I'm over 6 ft tall and it is as roomy and luxurious as any car I've owned. This Chrysler is a great chance to get a big block Mopar cruiser with a nice mix of aggressive looks and art deco luxury in a beautiful color combination. If you are interested, I like doing trades too, so maybe that'll work. Here is a link to many more photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/97286492@N06/albums/72157660384232280 I have owned and collected classic cars for the last 26 years, beginning with the 1969 Dodge Charger I bought when I was sixteen, and which I still own today. I still own my 2nd car as well, a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am, which I drove from my senior year in high school through to my second year of graduate school in the department of English at the University of Central Florida in Winter Park, FL. So my passion for classic cars -- and especially Mopars -- has been a lifelong pursuit and is about the most fun I can imagine having. I am an Oxford-educated motorhead that's been car crazy since bell bottoms were in style the first time around. And because I love to find, own, drive and collect all kinds of classic cars, there comes a point when I have to sell a few of them to keep my collection manageable, or else they all don't get exercised like they should. This is one of those times. My collection has expanded to about 16 cars, when really, if I am totally honest with myself, I should get it down to about twelve so that I have the time to drive and enjoy them all. I am a firm believer that cars should and need to be driven. And when I can't drive them all enough, I go through the process of letting a few of them go on to new owners that will hopefully get out there and drive them more than I have time to. That is why I am offering the 1966 Newport two-door for sale at this time. Please contact me with any questions, I hope to hear from you. You are viewing my beautiful 1965 Sedan Deville by Cadillac. This is a wonderful, low-mileage example of one of the great American luxury cars of the mid '60's, when America was making the best cars in the world. This Sedan Deville exemplifies all that was Cadillac during this wonderful era in the company's storied history, when it truly set the standard for beauty, grace and style in the automotive world. And when you slide yourself into the driver's seat of this incredible machine, it is easy to understand the sense of pride that a new owner would have felt pulling away from the dealership for the first time in his or her new Cadillac. Simply stunning describes this car to a T. Here is a link to over 80 additional photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/97286492@N06/sets/72157652209645540 And this is a short video walk-around: http://youtu.be/AcoIU9AgBNw For a full week in May we experienced perfect weather and I took the opportunity to use this beautiful automobile as daily transportation, both for the pure enjoyment of it and so that I might work out any bugs that might diminish the driving experience. Also, I had previously ordered an electronic ignition conversion kit and coil and this was a great time to get this done as well. These upgrades, along with the new gas tank, fuel bowl and carburetor (the correct replacement for this Cadillac) that I had done in the fall, make this Cadillac one of the most enjoyable drives I've experienced. This car starts spectacularly and runs at highways speeds like its hungry for more. I continually found myself leaving suggested speeds unintentionally simply because its so smooth and eager. Or course, I always throttled back and stayed within posted limits:). This Cadillac shows as well as it goes. The body is very, very nice; I've eaten off diner plates that aren't nearly as clean as the motor; and the interior chrome is astounding. It is the most well-preserved Cadillac dash I've ever seen! The trunk is very nice as well. I even pulled back the trunk liner and took some photos on the spotless steel underneath, they are available by request. I'm sure you will love owning this car as much as I have. I have too many cars at the moment and am seeking to thin the herd as they say, so please contact me with any questions or concerns and we can go from there. I usually entertain trades, but right now I'm hoping to create space, so I'm putting trades on hold. Thanks for looking!

You are viewing my 1972 Cadillac Coupe Deville. This a very low mileage example that has been shown often and has earned a trunk full of trophies for its incredible condition and originality. I have been lucky enough to own this incredible car for about 3 years and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It drives as beautifully as it looks. Of the generation of Deville's offered between 1965 and 1974, I believe that the '72 is the best combination of power, luxury and overall ride quality. And this Coupe Deville exemplifies all those qualities to near perfection. I have taken this car out on a number of extended highway cruises and it has performed magnificently. I have owned and collected classic cars for the last 26 years, beginning with the 1969 Dodge Charger I bought when I was sixteen, and which I still own today. I still own my 2nd car as well, a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am, which I drove from my senior year in high school through to my second year of graduate school in the department of English at the University of Central Florida in Winter Park, FL. So my passion for classic cars has been a lifelong pursuit and is about the most fun I can imagine having. The interior in this Coupe Deville is as near perfect as any I've ever seen, and the seats are absolutely spectacular. This car comes with power windows, power seats, AM/FM stereo with the factory windshield antenna and the rarity of no A/C. You will be very hard-pressed to find a finer example of the '72 Coupe Deville anywhere. I've included links to a video and many more photos, and please contact me with any questions you might have. I will also entertain trades as well. You are viewing a 1968 Imperial Crown Coupe, equipped with a 440 cubic in. V8 engine, automatic transmission, black leather interior and power everything. The Crown Coupe -- an extremely rare car, as only 2,656 were made -- was Chrysler Corporation's flagship luxury coupe in 1968 and was a worthy competitor of the Cadillac Eldorado and the Lincoln Mark Series for the upper echelon of the American car market. This particular example is presented with a glassy gold finish and a black vinyl top, a very elegant combination that exudes the class and style that buyers with a certain discriminating taste were looking for in '68. And it still hits the mark. On a long drive this summer from my home in Clinton, NY through Utica and north toward Watertown, I witnessed the effect firsthand. The car garnered many waves and smiles, and I think most people were pleasantly surprised by a car that they couldn't readily identify. With such incredibly low production numbers, the chances of seeing one in its natural habitat are very slim. I think this gives everyone a real thrill. The Crown Coupe is a real pleasure to drive, it fires up eagerly and is silky smooth rolling down the highway. The legendary 440 cubic inch engine, one of the great motors of all time and probably second only to the "hemi"s in the Chrysler arsenal, is the perfect match to this big touring coupe. It cruises along effortlessly and provides a sensation of limitless torque that is an absolute joy to experience. Sitting in the leather bucket driver's seat looking over the beautiful dash and that long hood, its easy to be transported back to the late '60's when style and masculinity were at a pinnacle, when men dressed well, worked hard and made America the greatest country in the world. And they drove cars that are still seen as the benchmark of style and craftsmanship even today. My collection has expanded to about 20 cars, when really, if I am totally honest with myself, I should get it down to about twelve so that I have the time to drive and enjoy them all. I am a firm believer that cars should and need to be driven. And when I can't drive them all enough, I go through the painful process of letting a few of them go on to new owners that will hopefully get out there and drive them more than I have time to. Before its all said and done, there will be about seven up and available. This Imperial has been a real pleasure to own and while it isn't perfect, it is a wonderful example of maybe the lowest production luxury coupe every produced by the big three automakers. It is ready to be driven and enjoyed, and any improvements can be made while still being able to take it out for a Sunday drive. The car is equipped with A/C, which isn't working at the moment. That's one of those items you could address as you see fit. Here in New York, it just isn't that big of a deal. I have the original Imperial air cleaner and many other original parts. I was also able to locate two build sheets; I removed one and left the other in the car where it was placed when it was built more than 40 years ago. I've included videos of both build sheet locations, plus a walk-around of the car and many other photos at the links below. Otherwise, please let me know if you have any questions and of course you are more than welcome to come and view the car in person. I think you'll be pleased you did. As rare as this car is, determining an asking price wasn't easy, so I just went with the book price and I think its pretty fair when you consider the similar, much higher production luxury coupes out there. And if you have a cool classic car that you think I might be interested in, let me know, maybe we can work something out! 1971 Chrysler New Yorker. 440 cu in, automatic, 39,530 miles, power windows, power seats, incredibly clear AM radio. This is an extremely nice example of early '70's Mopar magic, with beautiful brocade seats and a glassy exterior. It is set and ready to go and in excellent shape. If you love Chryslers like I do, you can't help but be inspired by this well-preserved New Yorker. The 440 rumbles like a jungle cat and the BF Goodrich TA's provide a ride that is second to none. I have owned and collected classic cars for the last 26 years, beginning with the 1969 Dodge Charger I bought when I was sixteen, and which I still own today. It is an exceptional car that I am very proud to offer for sale.
