I have for sale a nice 1960 Cadillac series 62 coupe. It is the desirable Ebony Black & Olympic White colors from the factory. This Cadillac has a history of being cared for and it shows, always being stored inside and has a documented low mileage of 45137. There is an oil change sticker on the drivers door that shows the date 7-8-83 and mileage of 33538 and a copy of a title dated 7-31-84 with a mileage of 40220. Another great thing about this car is it is 99% rust free and has no evidence of ever being taken apart for major repairs. It had a thick rust proofing undercoating when it was new which prevented any corrosion. Even the rear wheel skirts and that area in the wheel opening, which is the first to rust out, are in great shape. The paint was done in the 90's and is a base coat/clear coat paint, so it polishes out very nicely. We did a 3-stage paint restoration on it, and the paint turned out very deep & glossy but there are chips and many other small defects, but from 10 feet away it looks great! All the sheet metal on this Cadillac is nice and straight, no dents. The original spare and all jack equipment are still with the car. The interior of the car is all original except for a dash cover cap and we installed a new headliner, the original one was discolored. All the glass on the car is good, no cracks, scars or scratches but the windshield has some small bubbles in it. The chrome and stainless on the car are in very good condition except for a couple pieces shown in the pictures. We completely rebuilt the brake and fuel systems on the car along with checking and replacing anything that needed it to make sure it was mechanically sound. These Cadillac coupes are getting hard to find in an affordable condition like this one, most are fully restored and expensive or complete basket cases. Up for sale is my Cadillac Deville. This was my son's first car and it never let us down. It has 4 new tires and a new alternator (we added it to accommodate the stereo system). The interior is excellent and has very little wear. The exterior also looks great with only a few scratches, etc. The bumpers are slightly faded but can easily be repainted. It never bothered to bother doing it (they sell the paint in a spray can at Advance Auto Parts).The stereo system is a Kenwood double-din touchscreen. All speakers in the car have been upgraded to Rocksford Fosgate. There are 2 12 inch Rocksford Fosgate subwoofers in the trunk. This 1969 Cadillac Coupe Deville Convertible is a solid driver car that is ready for spring and summer fun. I have thoroughly enjoyed this car, as I have many memories share with my Dad in this car! That being said, let me share some of this car's details. The mileage as indicated is a little over 11,000 on the odometer. However, THIS IS 111,000+ miles and NOT 11,000. The car does not burn, or leak oil. As I stated earlier, the lower rear quarters needs attention on both sides. However, there is not significant rot out so the repairs would be minimal. The car runs great! It does not run hot or overheat. I have taken this car on numerous trips for more than 400 miles and it ran great. The tires are in great shape and have more than 75% life remaining. The front and rear suspension is excellent, with no pulling, swaying, or bouncing. The front seat of the car needs attention as you can see from the pics. The power windows all work great and are quick up and down. The 6-way power seat motor works but is slow. All in all, this convertible is priced fairly, and is alot of fun. Drive the car as is, or restore to your liking. It is very presentable as is, and I get quite a few thumbs up wherever I go.
