This car is a rare mostly original 58,000 mile car that has been remarkably preserved. The only deterioration that has occurred during it's 50 years was paint ,top and a slight transmission leak. After a professional stunning repaint, new top, and transmission reseal the car is virtually a new car again. With the car is all of the original paperwork including: owners manual, shop manual, protect-o-plate, top manual, the 2 previous owners (I am the third owner) etc. The cars engine is quiet and powerful and the car has every option offered except cruise control and everything on the car works properly. This year has the vertical quad headlights that result in a massive impressive uninterrupted grille. Offered for sale is my 1948 Lincoln Continental Coupe, Concours Condition 37,838 mile mostly original car with a stunning professional repaint and a complete re-chrome. I am the sixth owner and along with the previous owners have maintained repaired and upgraded the car to concours condition. It has won Class Award at the 2014 Arizona Concours d' Elegance, First Place CCCA Senior Badge, and Lincoln Continental Club Major National Award Winner. The engine is smooth and quiet and the overdrive and everything on the car works properly. The upholstery is original and is very presentable but not perfect. The car is a great driver and has been on many tours and does not overheat. Included with the car is the history of it's time with the 6 owners and repair receipts, factory build card, and many manuals. Offered for sale is my 1948 Lincoln Continental Coupe with 37,800 original miles. The original owner drove the car for 13 years and 27,400 miles, and was then owned by a sequence of 5 car collectors who drove it an additional 10,000 miles. During this period the car was maintained, repaired and upgraded as necessary to offset the aging process. The fifth owner did most of the restoring as necessary as well as replacement of worn parts, overhaul transmission, repaint, re-chrome. The sheet metal and paint are stunning. The upholstery is original and very presentable but not perfect. During this period the car upgraded to a level that it earned many awards including CCCA Senior Badge, Lincoln Continental Club Major National Award Winner, 2014 Arizona Concours de Elegance third place winner. As the sixth owner I continued to make minor upgrades and maintenance as found necessary in driving the car. All of the gages, lights, radio, heater,and windshield wiper work properly, and with the overdrive the car has no trouble keeping up with freeway traffic and does not overheat. Tires have very little wear and the steering and brakes are excellent. The engine compartment and undercarriage have both been restored. Included with the car are the factory build card, repair receipts, many repair manuals, and a complete history of the car and it's previous owners.
