Up for sale is my 1995 saturn.I purchased the car from my father in law in 2006 with approx 35,000 miles on it.He was the original owner.At that time i had to replace the transmission.The years following the car was used by my daughter until approx 2013.I used the car a few days per week for commuting to NYC.The vehicle has been well maintained at all times.We joke around about how we can use the saturn to pick up our expensive cars for service or when they break down.This car will never let you down.Always starts up!!great heat and cold a/c. Recent repairs over the past 2 1/2 years were.Replaced full exhaust system from exhaust manifold to rear muffler,installed new alt and battery with serpentine belt. Replaced radiator,thermostat,fan shroud and transmission cooling lines and rear brake adjustment. I Really need the space in my driveway before I have to plow both of them under a pile of snow. This 2002 Saturn SL1 four door automatic has been owned and maintained by an ASE Certified mechanic since it was 3 years old. I recently hit a raccoon at 60mph, and there is a hole in the bumper. The hood is a little rusty, and the back door sills are rusty, as with all Saturns. The car runs and drives great. Has lots of new parts: brakes, struts, bearings, etc., EVEN NEW Tires. You're looking at a 2002 Saturn SL1 for sale. It's an automatic with a 1.9L engine. This car has been well kept and had maintenance regularly. The wheels are red 17x7 Sparco Assetto Garas with new all season 205/45R-17 Kumho Ecsta tires put on this year with an alignment as well (3/20). The wheels are like new, as it has been rarely driven since June (when I purchased a new car). Within the past year, new tie rod ends, wheel bearings, power steering pump, and water pump. They were due for replacement. It has a full size spare in the trunk as well as the 14 inch spare it came with. 193,000 miles on the odometer with many more to go. This SL1 averages 35 mpg highway and 25 mpg city. It's a great car and would make an excellent first car or commuter. Please contact me with any questions or concerns you might have.

Okay I will try to be specific. 1992 Saturn SL Series Front wheel drive Automatic transmission Power steering 125,000 ish miles (Instrument cluster was replaced 2 years ago so the shown mileage is not correct) I am not really sure what people want to know so I will just list everything I can think of. The miles shown on the cluster says 260k or so, but it was replaced 2 years ago and the shown mileage is what was on the vehicle that I pulled that cluster from. I might have some old oil change paperwork somewhere that will show what the mileage was in 2010 or so, it was left broken for about 3 years. it had 76k miles in 2010 (It was a grandma car, only driven on sundays more or less) but since it was bought from the original owner it has driven across the country a few times (4 times) so to be safe I am assuming the miles are about 125k. So not too bad considering the year. The exterior is mostly clean, a few scratches on a door that I had taken off of a scrap car earlier this year, same color as the rest of the car. I replaced the door because the window crank on the old one broke and it was just easier to replace the whole door. The engine is dirty from what I assume is an old oil leak, it is a very slow leak, it never has run dry with standard oil changes. power steering does need to be topped off once every few months, so the dirtiness of the engine might be power steering fluid. who knows. As I have said, there is a leak somewhere in the power steering, it needs to be checked every few months, the steering gets stiff when it is running low. I am not a mechanic but I think there might be something slightly wrong with the steering column, it makes odd noises but has never broken or given me any reason to assume its about to break. Things that have been replaced in the past few years: Tensioner was replaced in 2012, old one had a broken pulley on it. Alternator was replaced in 2012, Thing just needed to be replaced. Shocks and struts in the front were replaced in 2015, badly worn and needed it. The steering was aligned and a few parts fixed in early 2015 to fix extreme tire wear The front right tire is worn and needs to be replaced, it is fairly new so it implies there is something wrong with the alignment on that corner. I thought it was fixed but apparently there is something else wrong with it. The windshield does need to be replaced before it can be registered again, it has been successfully emission and inspected for the past 6 years since we have owned it. The interior is a bit of a mess, the back middle seat belt has been removed. Some of the paneling inbetween the front and rear doors have been removed due to broken clips that caused rattling, the ceiling panel should be replaced, the fabric on it is a bit shredded and falling apart. The driver seat should also be replaced, the padding in it is not very comfortable to sit on anymore and its fairly dirty. Rest of the interior has its normal amount of dirt build up, but all things considered it seems to be in fairly decent shape. Before I forget, The AC system, it does work, oddly, for a 92. It has had a few parts replaced and over the winter the refrigerant did leak out. I took it to a mechanic to get filled and it has been working without and issue since the beginning of July. That being said there is probably a very small leak in the system, and I think I know where it is, but as it stands, a yearly recharge is all it needs. EDIT 1. Rear windshield was replaced 4 years ago, C02 canister exploded and shattered it, still a hole in the rear in between the speakers. (just cosmetic) AC compressor was replaced 2 years ago also. Was replaced with one from a scrap car, but has been working since. EDIT 2. The CARFAX report shows 6 owners, we are owner 3,4,5, and 6. I do not know what the first accident was reported as, but the second one was the car being rear ended by another vehicle, there was no real damage, bumper was replaced and I believe that was it. yeah, needs some repairs but it still runs and is completely drive able. 1997 SATURN SL1 152670 ORIGINAL MILES. GOOD NJ INSPECTION UNTIL 2016. Perfect starter/first car as has been maintained. Recent tune up with PCV Valve and Air Filter, and oil + filter change using synthetic blend Shell Rotella Oil. Also has had new exhaust system and 4 wheel brake job ,and 4 new tires done within the last 6 months. AC works nice and cold. Has minor parking lot dings and dent passenger side doors . Was burning oil and fouling #3 sparkplug so I just did an engine decarboning as per GM Technical Bulletin and Saturn's owner club and installed an anti fouler on cylinder # 3 to help. My wife has been hospitalized and will no longer be able to drive when released so we must sell it.
