Up for sale I have a 1 owner 2001 Saturn SC2 Base Coupe 3-Door 1.9L this car needs a new motor, the current one is blown. Everything else on this car works perfect including the transmission , a/c , all power motors including sun roof work. Cosmetically this car is BEAUTIFUL , no tears or rips in the leather, no dents on car, minor wear and tear scratches but nothing that can't be buffed out. I have done research and see you can buy a used motor for around $300 for this car. This car will need to be towed due to the motor being blown. FOR SALE - AS IS WHERE IS - This is an older car. A/C doesn't work. Body has dings and scratches. Interior shows wear. Will be totally honest with you, car's transmission slips in forward and reverse but still moves forward and backward and still gets 30 mile to the gallon. It needs a muffler, the check engine light is on and the ABS light is on. There is a small crack in the wind shield but it is completely out of the drivers line of sight. Engine runs good. Plasti-dip is a new type of "painting" a car. It was cheaper to plasti-dip it, do the headlights, and window tinting than it would have been to get it painted and this looks 10 times better than some of those cheap $299 paint jobs. If taken care of the plasti-dip should last a few more years. Car was originally red, now blue. The red was horribly faded on top especially. We are told that you can simply peel back the plasti dip and it will peel off. Not sure how long that would take. Just passed safety & emissions last month. In the year we have owned this car, only a battery (covered under warranty) needed to be replaced, there have been NO OTHER mechanical issues.

Sitting has caused them to dry rot. The tumbler (ignition) should be replaced. Minor scratches on body and a small puncture on rear bumper. Front bumper has 2 small cracks. The interior is clean except for one small tear in the headliner.Replaced the spark plug wires and the fuel filter. The new filter does make a weird sound. Not sure why.Only selling it because it never gets driven and it's a good fuel efficient car that someone should be driving.We do start it periodically and let it run.
