Due to exporting (when the U.S. Dollar was weak), only 70-80 are said to be left in the U.S. This 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is in excellent condition inside and out. It has only ever been hand washed and has been regularly hand waxed and detailed. It has zero accidents and has never had any paint work. All scheduled maintenance has been done by Delta Imports (the Porsche dealer in Grand Rapids, Michigan) since new and is fully documented. With only 1,752 sold in the U.S. market between 1995 and 1998, this 1997 example remains in excellent condition and has been cared for with the utmost attention to detail. Originally purchased in Texas, this C2S now resides in West Michigan and has never seen the snow, or inclement weather for that matter. It has always been garage-kept in heated indoor storage during the winter months and has only had 250 miles recorded this year. It has the original paint, no accidents, and comes with a copy of the original window sticker as well as service records dating back to February of 1998. The current owner, a Porsche enthusiast, is only offering it for sale due to his newfound passion for spec Boxster track days. This 993 is powered by the original, numbers matching 3.6L 6-Cylinder engine mated to the original 6-speed manual gearbox. Tim Thatcher of Euro Autowerks in Belding, MI, has routinely serviced this Porsche. It had its 75k mile service and lower valve covers done in February of 2013.
