Aside from the limited 959, it was the first Turbo to feature all-wheel drive, as well a twin turbochargers. In 1995, Motor Trend tested the 993 Turbo at 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds, and 0-100-0mph in 13 seconds, thoroughly whipping the competition. The 993 would also prove to be the final air-cooled generation of 911s, with the water cooled Type 996 debuting in the U.S. in 1999.
