I put on 4 new Pirellis at 15,945 in February, 2012. The only repair item performed on car was not uncommon on this vintage 997 ...the rear main seal & intermediate shaft seal were replaced at 17K miles by Atlanta Porsche dealer in May, 2013. I had this done early and preventatively just to take care of it while under warranty.... new battery then too. Motor is just getting fully broken in now at 23K miles. Car is a joy to drive....wonderful tight car....I am meticulous about scheduled services.
