This particular car is a Turbo S and distinguishes itself from its Turbo sibling with a number of mechanical, exterior bodywork and interior trim differences that required it to be constructed at Porsche Exclusive, their in-house customization facility that builds both limited edition as well as bespoke customer cars. The engine has been upgraded with two larger K-24 turbo units, an additional oil cooler and remapping of the Motronic engine control management system to produce an additional 25 horsepower—425 versus 400. The visual clues on the exterior include large air scoops on the leading edge of the rear fenders to cool the incoming air charge, a European front spoiler with brake cooling ducts, an aero rear spoiler, quad round exhaust tips, and matte finish on the wheels and yellow colored brake calipers—in lieu of red. Sadly, up for auction is a believed to be 1 of 1 paint to sample color for this 2016 Porsche GT3 RS. I am only selling to fund another Porsche purchase. I will also be selling a 964 turbo and a 993 turbo S soon. Anyhow, this color is dark blue metallic and it is absolutely phenomenal. The car has now been CPO'd (certified pre-owned) which means it has a full warranty until 5/12/2022 or 100k miles, whichever comes first. YES, I have the rear spoiler / wing and it is located inside my home...I personally like the look without it, but most purists like it on the car. As you probably know, it takes less 5 minutes to put it back on (6 screws). The car came with clear taillights and I prefer red, so I kept the clear ones but purchased the red ones and had a Porsche dealership install them for me (both sets come with the car). The car has been recently professionally detailed (inside and out). The car has a full clear wrap (Xpel) which is a $10k value. The car's glass also has a very light ceramic tint which helps to significantly reduce heat and protect the interior from harmful UV rays. The car comes with the original floor mats and a car cover. The engine was designed by Hans Metzger, probably the best Porsche engine designer ever. We also won the European Le Mans Series in 2000. The 996 Turbo engines are not the same design as used in the normal 996 911's. There was a intermediate shaft bearing problem with those cars and some have thought the Turbo's also had a problem. Not true, Mr. Metzger's engines feature a totally different design. Serviced properly, they will provide many hundred's of thousands of miles with spectacular performance. The low mileage shows that the car has been pampered, but driven enough to keep everything working and lubricated.
