Super rare Fully Loaded 1970 GTO Convertible FACTORY A/C CAR with Power Windows, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Stereo Radio etc only 330 Convertible GTOs were built in 1970 with A/C even less have all these other options this may be one of just a handfull of fully loaded GTO convertibles (Copy of build sheet shown). This car under went a restoration about 15 years ago, the body was stripped and painted, the interior was completely restored, new chrome, new top, rebuilt engine, rebuilt transmission, new bushings, frame painted, upgraded performace rear installed with rear disc brake upgrade the list goes on and on! The car was built to be driven and have fun with not a trailer queen! The car will stop traffic any were it goes looks great and sounds mean! The NOM 400 engine was built by LAB (Top rated engine builder in north east) and has many upgrades cam etc and is pushing about 425hp. The car drives very nice and straight not a rattle box at all. The exterior looks great there are a few flaws showing from age but over all good looking driver. The interior looks basicly new 80% of the interior has been replaced or restored, there are a few little things that should be done but nothing major. The car is a factory A/C car but some compontants under the hood were removed years ago so it currently is inop. Under the car its very clean with no rust and lots of new parts! After the car was restored it was driven very little and then sat in storage for about 5 years so it could use some fine tunning and such but again all minor things. Documented frame off 95% rust free convertible GTO with all matching numbers from front to back and an ABSOLUTE CORRECT 49897 original miles! Everyone claims low miles, this is for real!!! I have lots and lots of receipts and photos of the restoration. The resto cost in excess of $60k after the almost rust free car was purchased! Engine is 389 4 barrel matching #s. Original seat belts dated and pictured, pictures of the entire restoration and documented car with low original miles. Original Barrier blue car with black interior and black convertible top painted beautifully 8 years ago when the restoration was done and driven only 1500 miles since. The top, interior and underside look like they were completed yesterday! Everything is matching numbers from front to back, engine, trans and rear! The rear is a posi traction with 323 gears and the trans is a 4 speed manual. The only rust that this car ever had was lightly in the trunk area and small piece on lower quarter that was pieced in professionally! I do not have any pics of the top down because it is soooo brand new looking that I don't want those wrinkles in it! I did have it down once for about an hour! lol The new owner can put it down as much as they would like and yes it works perfectly! This car runs and drives as perfect as it looks and it would impress anyone! This car was originally a 3 speed with open 12 bolt rear but that was upgraded to 4 speed and posi rear. The original trans and rear are included with the car and are in fine condition. Please send your best GTO guru inspector or come and see for yourself! Don't miss this one! 1968 REAL GTO 4 Speed Convertible Red on Black with a white top FULLY LOADED!!! Hood Tach, Power Top, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Power Steering ETC!!! This car under went a mechanical restoration a few years back so its turn key car, get in and drive home! The NOM Engine was rebuilt, original transmission gone over and engine compartment detailed it looks great and runs better! The Red Exterior looks great for its age and will stop traffic where ever you go. The black interior is stunning and shows very little signs of wear. The underside of the car is VERY clean with a few bolt on suspension upgrades to help the handling. This is a very solid car no major rust at all (a few paint bubbles thats it)!
