This car is ready for a complete restoration. The real deal 242 pontiac GTO 400 4 speed.The motor is original and runs incredibly smooth. As you can see it had some front end damage but I have been lucky to come across many replacement parts that weren't cheap but are absolutely necessary: endura nose, front valance, headlight buckets all off a 72, and a 1971 hood that I was lucky to find out of Montana. The inserts for the hood are here also. There are also some parts in the trunk for the front end rebuild such as the latch so you will save a bit of money there. The original stereo is also in the trunk. I put about $1000 into a new fuel pump and new clutch and getting the breaks loose so it could be driven down the road after I first purchased it many years ago. It was driven home from the shop but otherwise has been garaged and started up once a week or so. I didn't get a picture of the cowl tag but can send one when i get it. The original color is copper canyon paint with saddle brown interior. With this 400 4 speed you won't find a better project car. Bidding starts at $10,000 with no reserve price.
