This car is ready for a complete restoration. The real deal 242 pontiac GTO 400 4 speed. The motor is original and runs incredibly smooth. As you can see it had some front end damage but I have been lucky to come across many replacement parts that weren't cheap but are absolutely necessary: endura nose, front valance, headlight buckets all off a 72, and a 1971 hood that I was lucky to find out of Montana. The inserts for the hood are here also. There are also some parts in the trunk for the front end rebuild such as the latch so you will save a bit of money there. The original stereo is also in the trunk. I put about $1000 into a new fuel pump and new clutch and getting the breaks loose so it could be driven down the road after I first purchased it many years ago. It was driven home from the shop but otherwise has been garaged and started up once a week or so. I didn't get a picture of the cowl tag but can send one when i get it. The original color is copper canyon paint with saddle brown interior. With this 400 4 speed you won't find a better project car. Bidding starts at $10,000 with no reserve price. I will do my best to answer questions promptly. I have many more pictures. The title is in hand in my name and is a clear title.

I'm a little older (66), retired car guy who has a real love for classic American Muscle cars. I really need to sell a few of my cars in order to purchase my friend's 1969 BOSS 429 ! All pictures were taken by me in Las Vegas or at my second home in southern Utah. The California Black Plate is date code correct (1969) for the car and is registered to the GTO! Please consider this absolutely gorgeous, numbers matching and heavily documented 1969 Pontiac GTO CONVERTIBLE finished in its original, ultra-rare and visually stunning color of LIMELIGHT GREEN METALLIC (code 59) with a flawless interior finished in PARCHMENT (code 257) and a WHITE Convertible Top ( code A). Add to the rarity, this drop top has ice cold FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING (code 582). Less than 10% (330) of all 69 GTO convertibles came with A/C!! This beautiful GTO was sold new on April 19, 1969 by Dale Sharp Pontiac in Topeka, Kansas to Mr. J. A. Stuckey, also of Topeka. A four owner car, every former owner is known and documented! This dream machine has spent virtually its entire life in Kansas, California and Nevada. There is no rust, or rust repairs, anywhere. Now the greatest part: This GOAT is a 100% SURVIVOR with only one repaint. That's right, total Originality. Original engine, original trans, original interior, original electric top, original clock, original radio, original rear axle, original wheels!! You get the picture! As a SURVIROR it is in a number one (1) condition. Overall, I would conservatively rate the car as a strong 2+, maybe a 1- condition. Recall the old adage: "IT'S ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE!! The odometer registers just 60,800 original miles. This beautiful muscle car would never need a full restoration as it has never seen a speck of rust and retains all of its original sheet metal. The original body panels are laser straight all the way around the car and the Limelight Green paint is like glass. There are no scratches, dents, dings, etc., anywhere. All of the chrome & stainless is absolutely beautiful as well. The undercarriage has to be the nicest original that I have ever seen. It is super-solid and nicely detailed from front to back. Slide inside the original Parchment interior and it feels like 1969 all over again. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, horn, original push button AM/FM radio, original power top, lighter, everything, works perfectly. As does the clock!!The interior is absolutely outstanding on this GTO. Now let's get to the heart of the beast. Pop open the hood, and nestled neatly inside the beautifully detailed engine bay is the original numbers matching 400/350 original motor with the correct (YS) code and engine pad stamping that matches the Protecto-Plate and VIN. The motor is linked to the original 3-speed Turbo Hydramatic Transmission and the original (code XH-HD) 3.23 Rear Axle with original Safe-T-Track. The best thing about this gorgeous 1969 Pontiac GTO Convertible is the way it drives and performs. She starts runs, drives, steers and brakes beautifully in every way with no issues whatsoever. When you get out on the open road, there are no vibrations, rattles or squeaks and she tracks perfectly straight with plenty of power to spare. This GTO is an absolute blast to drive and the factory Power Steering makes maneuvering effortless. If it's hot outside, turn on the Factory Air Conditioning. I can guarantee that you will get you plenty of attention driving this beautiful GTO. The Limelight Green exterior wrapped around the Parchment interior, with the White Convertible Top, makes for a gorgeous color combination and you really have to see it in person to appreciate how beautiful it really is. I am always getting compliments from people on how it's one of the prettiest color combos that they have ever seen. She sits on the original 14" Rally II Wheels w/ almost new tires. We all know how important documentation is when it comes to classic cars, especially muscle cars. This GTO has loads of paperwork including the Original Window Sticker, Original Protecto-Plate, Original Owner’s Manual, Original 1969 Pontiac New Vehicle Warranty, Two sets of Original Keys still in their Dale Sharp Leather Jackets, Title & Registration History, Receipts and PHS paperwork to boot. This beautiful 1969 Pontiac GTO truly has it all, with its numbers matching drive train, incredible good looks, full-proof documentation and outstanding drivability!! What more can you ask for when investing in a Classic Car--I'll tell you what! How about a minimum of 21 Documented Factory Options!! All are still in place and working!!! Here they are:1. Turbo Hydramatic ( code 351);2. Covered Headlights ( code 414);3. Left Side Remote Mirror ( code 424);4. Custom Steering Wheel ( code 462);5. Electric Clock ( code 474);6. Power Steering-Variable ( code 501);7. Tinted Glass ( code 531);8. Air Conditioning ( code 582);9. Heavy Duty Air Cleaner ( code 731);10. Push Button Radio ( code 382);11. Right Side Vanity Mirror ( code 421);12. Rally II Wheels ( code 454);13. Center Console ( code 472);14. Remote Deck Lid Release ( code 492);15. Power Front Disc Brakes ( code 511);16. Head Restraints ( code 571);17. Floor Mats ( code 631);18. Tach-Hood Mounted ( code 471);19. Rally Gauges ( code 484);20. Door Edge Guards ( code 412); and,21. White Wall Tires ( code TRR) I honestly believe that you will not find a better, original example of a 1969 GTO Convertible than my car at any time, or any place or at any cost that's comparable to my asking price. And now the clincher, it was recently owned by a Heisman Trophy Winner. He was impeccable in his maintenance of the car. I do reserve the right to end this auction at any time and for any reason. My GTO is listed in other media. The GTO will not leave my possession until payment has been received, has cleared my bank and is in my account! No scams, please. If you would like to talk to me about the car, or its acquisition, please call Rick at 562.209.2802. I do have two other cars that I will be selling/listing: A 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS 409/409. The Beach Boys made it famous..." dual quad, 4-speed, positraction 409"; and, A 1966 Plymouth Satellite with a real 426 Wedge engine, dual quads, 727 trans, positraction, Air Conditioning and Power Steering. Both cars are in fabulous condition and fairly priced!

Up for auction is a 1970 Pontiac GTO. this is a real 242 GTO, and would be a great starting point for someone that knows what they are doing. It comes with the P.H.S. Car is originally Platinum with white vinyl top and sandlewood interior. Other options include tilt steering, Power windows, and rally 2s. It has a 400 and T400 trans that I believe to be the original. The Heads are not original, they are a 48 which is a 69 ram air III head, also the intake is 68 that I have put on. I have tried to get the car to run but have lose interest. It does have new tires on it. I think it could run with distributer and carb.. It has typical rust in fenders and quarters. The trunk and floors aren't rusted through yet but are pretty soft. This is a great car for someone that knows what they are doing. It is fairly complete with exception of the carb., distributer and bucket seats. All the glass is there and not cracked. It is what it is, a 70' GTO in need of a full restore. If you have any questions, ask and I'll try to answer as best as possible. Car is being sold as is. Buyer responsible for shipping.

ColorGreenInterior ColorGreenTitleClear Now sitting on our showroom floor here @ 'Red Hills Rods & Classics', is Dick Lackey’s absolutely gorgeous all numbers matching, fully documented and National Award-Winning 1970 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV. This rare Pontiac GTO RA IV is the finest of its kind available anywhere @ any price, period. This 1970 GTO Ram Air IV has received a full frame-off professional concours-level restoration, retaining its original numbers matching 400 Ram Air IV engine, original numbers matching Muncie M21 4-Speed transmission, original numbers matching 3.90 rear axle, and 95% of the components under the hood are original as well. How many all numbers matching GTO Ram Air IV cars have you seen lately? The fact is that 99% of the RAIV cars that are out there do NOT retain their original drivetrain. These cars were raced hard, and usually lost their original block very early on. It is nearly impossible to find a ‘real’ Ram Air IV GTO with its original motor & transmission. I located this incredible car through Jim Mattison from Pontiac Historical Services (PHS), who then hooked me up with the owner, Dick Lackey, a very well known Pontiac enthusiast & collector. When Jim told me how incredibly nice the car was and that all of the drivetrain numbers matched, I jumped at the chance to acquire the car just as soon as possible. Dick was a pleasure to work with and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to Pontiac muscle cars. According to the PHS documentation, this GTO RAIV left the factory optioned out as follows: (WW) Ram Air IV Motor, Muncie M21 Close-Ratio 4-Speed Transmission, 3.90 Safe-T-Track Axle, Hood-Mounted Tachometer, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Console, Heavy-Duty Shocks/Springs & Firestone G70-14 Whitewall Tires. When the car arrived here in Utah, I was completely blown away, as the car was nicer that I ever imagined it would be. It is as close to ‘flawless’ as you will ever find. The 100% rust-free sheet metal is absolutely laser straight all of the way around the car, and the factory correct (Code M) Pepper Green paint is simply 100% perfect! All of the chrome & bright work is show quality throughout. Open the door and it’s only more of the same. The factory correct (Code 256) Green Bucket-Seat Interior w/ console is perfect from front to back. From under the dash to the headliner, everything is factory correct and looks like it just rolled off of the assembly line. All gauges, lights, blinkers, etc. work like new! Even the original AM Radio sounds great and the lighter pops out hot! Under the hood, nestled inside the beautifully detailed engine bay, you will find the original numbers matching Ram Air IV (WW) motor linked to the original numbers matching Muncie M21 4-Speed transmission which feeds power to the original 3.90 Safe-T-Track rear axle. Again, 95% of the components such as RAIV heads, intake, carburetor, exhaust manifolds, etc. are original to the car! She starts, idles, drives & performs perfectly in every way! The RAIV motor runs super-strong and has loads of torque. It is by far the fastest 1970 Pontiac GTO that I have ever driven by a long shot. I only drove her once to check everything out and make sure she was 100%. When I got back after my test drive, I was smiling for the rest of the day. Simply stated, this is a very, very special car. No stone was left unturned and no corners were cut during the concours restoration. This RAIV GTO is 100% 'factory correct', right down to the correct T-3 headlamps and original Firestone Whitewall tires. The undercarriage is absolutely perfect and is as nice as the topside (see photos). After Dick finished the extensive restoration, he showed the car several times & received numerous prestigious awards including: the 2012 Pontiac-Oakland Club 'Gold Award' scoring 389 out of 400, and again in 2013, with a score of 397 out of 400, receiving the prestigious 'Senior Gold Award'. In 2013 the car was judged at the GTOAA National Convention and was awarded the 'CONCOURS GOLD AWARD'. This investment grade classic muscle car has been driven less than 80 miles since the concours restoration, so basically it's like you are buying a 'brand new' 1970 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV car. The new owner will receive the full PHS documentation, a photo album documenting the restoration as well as documenting the original numbered components, the original Owners Manual, original 1970 GTO Service Manual, original 1970 Fisher Body Manual, (2) Gold Award Certificates and (1) Concours Gold Award. This is a very serious Pontiac muscle car for a very serious collector! It will be the perfect centerpiece to any high-end Muscle Car collection. Based in Saint George, Utah, R.H.R.C. was founded by Steven Ray Anastos after he relocated to Utah from Southern California. Steven has been dealing in high-end Mopar Muscle Cars since 2003 where he did business in California under the name "Steve’s Killer Bees". Having ridden motorcycles his whole life, he decided to expand the business by dealing in Custom Choppers, Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles in addition to his growing Muscle Car and Hot Rod business. The stunning landscape, beautiful weather, open roads and no helmet laws make Utah the perfect place for such a business. After finding the ideal location with tons of visibility, Steven opened a brand new showroom in Saint George and plans on being around a very long time. The showroom is very unique as there is nothing else like it in Southern Utah. The area is starving for a taste of the Hot Rod Kulture and R.H.R.C. plans on getting in on the ground floor. They sell Helmets, Goggles, Sunglasses, Hats, Beanies, Jewelry, DVD’s, Books and Hot Rod Collectibles such as Rat Fink, Von Dutch, Clay Smith and Mooneyes. They also market their own line of R.H.R.C. apparel. Much of their business has been and will continue to be internet-based, especially the sale of their high-end Muscle Cars and Hot Rods as many of them are in the six-figure category. They intend to start selling these rare vehicles locally as there seems to be quite a following for Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Motorcycles in the Southern Utah area. R.H.R.C. holds Car Shows and Special Events monthly at their Saint George location so stop by and see their incredible selection of inventory. If you are not already on their mailing list, please call or email with your contact information and they will keep you informed of any and all events. This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
