This is an all original 1987 Pontiac Grand Prix LE. There isn't much to say about this one, the car runs and drives like new. It has a Chevrolet 5.0L 305CID V8 engine and a heavy duty TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. I purchased this car from an estate sale after the original owner passed away. The car still had its original 1987 Georgia title before I registered it in my name. I am the second owner of the car. This classic Pontiac has all available power options and everything functions properly. The car is equipped with a positraction, limited slip differential (I'm uncertain of the gear ratio). The car also has a DrawTite tow hitch. From my understanding, the car was used for family trips back in the late 80s and early 90s. The car has over 140k miles on it, but those are highway miles. The car was garaged for most of its life, until the original owner ran out of garage space and decide to park it outside. The paint on the hood, roof, and deck lid is fading and peeling, but the paint on the sides of the car is nearly perfect. The car sat for a few years until I bought it. The car has absolutely no rust and virtually no body damage, there are maybe two small dings on the entire body of the car. The front driver's seat is slightly torn and there is a small rip on the passenger side upholstery as well. The back seat looks like no one ever sat on it. The carpet is clean. The upholstery is clean. The dashboard doesn't have one crack in it. The door panels are beginning to fade at the top. The vinyl top is cracking and will need to be replaced. One emblem was missing, so I went ahead and removed all of the emblems from the car, they don't do these cars any justice. Overall, this car is in great condition. This is the condition you want your project to be in before you put your personal "stank" on it. If I don't sell this car for my asking price, then I will paint it the original color, reupholster the seats and door panels in blue vinyl, install a set of headers and a pair of Flowmaster 40 series mufflers with a true dual exhaust, I may or may not install an Edelbrock Performer Series intake and carburetor, and I will sit the car on a brand new set of YearOne 17" aluminum Pontiac Rally II wheels. If I decide to sell the car then, the price will be $6,500. Pontiac has always been considered to be General Motors' luxury line. Pontiac has always went a step above all other GM manufacturers to provide quality, stylish and luxurious cars for consumers with a modest budget. Unfortunately, Pontiac stopped manufacturing cars in 2009. The fourth generation Grand Prix was is part of GM's G-body platform. It is the highest optioned car on the 1978-1987 G-platform (aside from the performance model cars like the Buick Grand National and Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds). It is also the rarest of the non-performance model G-body cars. Pontiac's production numbers were always exceeded by it's partner companies, which subsequently makes Pontiac cars rarer. I could milk this all day, but if you're viewing this ad then I'm certain you are aware of Pontiac's automotive excellence.
