This is a 1969 Firebird 350/350 A/C project car. The car comes with a Connecticut Transferable Registration which is good in all 48 continental US states. PLEASE CALL 845-522-9229 WITH ANY QUESTIONS. It is a numbers matching engine and transmission car. The motor is free. It has a good dash and console. It has solid rails (except for a 12 inch area under the trunk on the driver side),rockers, and shock towers. It has all good glass. All of the a/c brackets and compressor are all in place. Around the window areas and pillar post areas are rot free. Floors appear to be repairable. The sub frame mounts are all good. Car needs all new sheet metal including trunk pan. The engine developed a knock (most likely a rod) about a year and a half ago and I just cannot seem to find time to get back to it. The engine will run for moving the car and loading, although it has been stored for a length of time. The accessories have been removed from the engine (alternator, belts, water pump pulley) in anticipation of pulling the engine for re-work. The body is very solid and any issues were dealt with when I had it painted. There appears to be some repair work from a previous owner on the rear-driver side frame rail which is very solid.Would make a great project to finish up over the winter Please review all details (condition, payment, etc) and feel free to ask any questions. This is a 1969 Pontiac Firebird with a factory 4.1 liter overhead cam 6 cylinder motor. The motor is free and was running 1 month ago on a bottle of gas. The car will come with the proper paper work to obtain a valid New York State Transferable Registration. Please call 845-522-9229 with any questions. 1967 Pontiac Firebird | 52,000 Original Miles | 6 CYL OHC Hi - I am selling my 1967 Pontiac Firebird. The car has been well maintained its entire life and it shows. I am the third owner of the car and it has never let me down. Approximately 5 or 6 years ago I had the car professionally repainted the original color (fathom blue). With the exception of having the car painted the only things that I had to do to the car is just standard maintenance items (had the brakes done about 7 years ago, replaced the antenna and a piece of trim over the years, and recently had the car professionally tuned up (oil change, new spark plugs, distributor cap, points).The car is not a $30,000 show car but it is a beautiful classic car that is reliable and has been kept in original condition. Th edge of the driver side door rubs slightly and the paint at the edge of the door has rubbed away. There are a couple of little dings / nicks here and there which is expected since I do drive the car and do not just let it sit in my garage. What I have always loved most about the car is that it is pretty much all original, it has no rust and it is reliable.
