The ones who will spend a small fortune on one of the original 3,629 GTO Judge coupes built in 1970. Then there are those who will save thousands buying a car that has been expectedly crafted AND is exceptionally more powerful. This 1970 Pontiac LeMans GTO Judge tribute is for the latter. If you like Chevys, you call this paint Hugger Orange; but if you're a Pontiac person, you know this is Carousel Red. It is one of the most iconic colors from the GM pallet, and it is exactly how you want a Judge to look. Of course it doesn't hurt that its awesome gloss is courtesy of a recent professional respray on a super-straight body. But getting a GTO right takes more than just the perfect paint. The stylish and dent-resistant Endura front end was exclusive to the GTO and not shared with any other mid-size Pontiacs in 1970. The Ram Air VI dual hood scoop is another unmistakable icon of this muscle car. When showing up or showing off, enthusiasts know The Judge is much more than just getting the highly stylized decals accurate on the fender and the trunk. This package was about adding more street-smart aggression, so you need extras like the sunrise-style side stripes and the big rear spoiler. Inside you start seeing the right details even in the little places like the GTO badging on the door, knob-style AM/FM radio, and the correct Pontiac steering wheel. Then you sit down and see that everything from the carpeting to the new seat covers have a nice deep and fresh black appearance. It's now that you start to realize how thorough this coupe's restoration/transformation has been. The center console gives your elbow the perfect resting spot when your hand is on the Turbo Action SCS shifter. Just ahead of that is a full set of SunPro auxiliary gauges, but your favorite readout will be the big tach that was installed in the dash. All this info about the motor tells you there's a lot going on in the engine bay. There's no replacement for displacement. In 1970 the top motor in a GTO was the optional 455 cubic-inch V8. This one takes that size and was rebuilt with a .030 bored over kit only 500 miles ago. Plus, the improvements don't stop there. Other performance upgrades include a new Eagle crank, roller rockers, larger cam, #96 heads, high torque starter, new water pump, four core aluminum radiator, MSD ignition, and a new HP Holley fuel pump. This motor inhales nicely through a Holley 750 double-pumper four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. It exhales with authority through Hooker headers on their way to a dual exhaust. So the rumble this car makes alone will have people in awe of this tribute GTO. Just to make sure it can back up it's performance on the streets, the TH400 three-speed automatic has a B&M 2,400 stall converter installed. But if all you want to do is drive this Pontiac around town intimidating others, it's the perfect cruiser with power steering, front disc brakes, and aggressive Ridler wheels wearing modern street tires. There has been a lot of time, effort, and money that has gone into making this Pontiac coupe a worthy GTO Judge tribute (and we've got plenty of restoration receipts to prove it.) This one looks so good that it's up to you to decide if you want to tell others how much you saved. So that makes this coupe desirable well beyond its LS1 V8 and extremely affordable price. This has always been a true collector's car from day one, so it's great to see that the previous three owners all treated it that way. In fact, there were only 1,065 coupes built total. The special 30th anniversary package started with an Arctic White Trans Am with the WS6 performance package (you can tell by that cool aggressive ram air scoop in the front.) Then some very unique striping was added from hood to tail. At the request of the first owner, the dealer only installed part of the Daytona 500 Pace Car decals on this car to make the car more tasteful and appealing. If desired, these side stripes can be removed by the next owner. It's hard not to love this white leather interior, especially when its carefully maintained. The white Prado bucket seats even come with commemorative anniversary stitching in the headrest. These anniversary cars on came one way loaded. This includes features such as power windows, power seats, power locks, cruise control, keyless entry, steering wheel mounted controls, Monsoon AM/FM/CD changer stereo, and air conditioning. The last one is especially nice because you can keep the car ice cold even with the T-tops out. Beyond just luxury features, a modern classic also means modern safety. So you get items like dual airbags and anti-lock brakes. And just in case all of this was not enough to convince you of how special this virginal white Pontiac is, there is a commemorative plaque with the car's sequential number just ahead of the stick shift. Under the hood is the 320 hp LS1 fuel-injected V8 that this special edition has always had from day one. In fact, the entire engine bay looks like a fresh time capsule. The lightweight all-aluminum powerhouse eclipses just about every other muscle car powerplant of the era, and it'll return better than 25 miles per gallon on the open road. It only gets better when mated to a six-speed manual transmission for the ultimate control. The suspension is another WS6 high point, with bigger sway bars and higher spring rates than a regular Trans Am. Add this to four-wheel disc brakes and BF Goodrich g-Force tires, and we won't blame you for wanting to go out and have fun in this collectable car. We have the title documentation to show you that this is really one of the last great Firebirds and we have the original window sticker as well. This is a babied classic that has only averaged about 3,400 miles per year. The only concern is that you better hurry up before someone else sees the value price on this modern classic. This 1970 Pontiac offers you a faithful tribute to these extremely rare muscle cars while also saving huge money. Plus, when it looks as good as this one, it's up to you to decide if you want to share this car's secret. Getting a GTO right is no easy task. For starters, the stylish and dent-resistant Endura front bumpers were exclusive to the GTOs and not shared with any other mid-size Pontiacs in 1970. The functional dual-scoop is another unmistakable icon of this muscle car. All of this is set off with its factory-correct bright white paint on a laser-straight body to grab everyone's attention. When showing up or showing off, enthusiasts know The Judge is much more than just getting the highly stylized decals accurate on the fender and the trunk. This package was about adding more street-smart aggression, so getting one of these right has to include extras like the wild colored side stripes and the rear spoiler. The Rally II wheels are a hallmark of these muscle cars because they have a stylistic flair with the PMD (Pontiac Motor Division) center cap that gives them a hint of industrial inductiveness. Inside, the deep black bucket seats are all about sporty business. The chair's dark vinyl matches the color of the door cards, center armrest, roof, and dashboard, but the interior is not a monochromatic experience. There is wood appliqu' on the center console and surrounding the gauge cluster. Plus, 1970 was the first year when Pontiac's performance cars would feature a section of billet aluminum trim a touch many other tributes often miss. The steering wheel is actually a later unit out of a Trans Am, which gives it the comfort of a smaller diameter, and better grip. This tribute to The Judge comes with plenty of convenience options such as power steering and air conditioning. And as a nice cool original touch, you AM/FM stereo can still play the 8-tracks. But performance is the real attitude on this Pontiac. It has a full gauge package that includes a factory tachometer and an auxiliary setup with water, power, and oil readouts. Of course what you'll really love is the Hurst dual gate shifter. The chrome piece not only looks great, but it also helps you get the most out of the monster motor. It wouldn't be a '70 GTO without the big 400 cubic-inch V8 under the hood. It looks great filling out the tidy engine bay. But beyond just the looks, this one is a strong performer with upgrades such as a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. This makes a great rumble out of the dual exhaust with performance H-pipe construction. And when you check out those pipes, take a look at the frame and undercarriage. It's presently clean, which is not something you often see for the 70s. The power steering, automatic transmission, and front disc brakes makes the coupe good for cruising, which is good because there's an extra feeling of confidence from behind the wheel of these tribute cars. This Pontiac coupe came down the same assembly line in between its GTO brothers (and has the PHS documents to prove it,) but it likely didn't spend its first few years making jackrabbit starts at each traffic light like most GTOs did. Instead, this one just has all the appearance of a cherished original at a fraction of the price. But this is your chance to own something more than the movie star car in this 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with four-speed manual transmission and WS6 package as per the included build sheet. We could continue to make movie references about a black Trans Am with gold trim, but the simple fact is that these were so cool looking that they were destined to be legendary even without Hollywood. Never designed to be a subtle machine, the deep Starlight Black is the perfect outlaw color, especially with the recent respray on this example. The chin spoiler and Endura front bumper doesn't show any evidence of run-ins with steep driveways or parking curbs, making this a car that can hold its head high at car shows. But what really makes this one really grab attention is all the gold trim that is on everything from under the rear spoiler to the iconic snowflake wheels. Of course, no one can escape the bold and iconic "hood bird" front and center. Inside is a selection of the perfect features. The black vinyl buckets are high-backed and well bolstered for an exceptionally nice feeling. Other comfort options include the power windows, power locks, cruise control, and a tilt/telescoping three-spoke steering wheel. The driver gets to face the cool machined aluminum dash, and everyone gets an upgrade with the AM/FM/CD radio that utilizes modern stereo speakers for superior sound. One feature that's seen on a lot of these, but is thankfully missing on this one, is the popular automatic transmission option. That's right...even the Bandit didn't get the kind of powerband control that you have in this four-speed manual coupe. With 400 cubic-inched under the hood, you'll find very few people willing to call the big V8's block color "baby" blue. This has been dressed up for both show and performance with the chrome valve covers, chrome alternator, and a heavy breathing four-barrel carburetor living under that hood scoop. The full force of this sounds amazing as it leaves the dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. What really makes this one special is the WS6 handling package. It includes a larger sway bar, tighter steering box ratio, and four-wheel disc brakes. This option made the Trans Am the favorite of most automotive magazines back in the day. Today this one still can compete thanks to modern Cooper Cobra Radial GT rubber. Documented with the original factory buildsheet, this car could be called a smart investment the way prices are on the move. But there aren't many investments that are this much fun to drive. 1977 Pontiac Trans Am SE. PHS documented Y-81 Special Edition Trans Am one of 384 non t-top SE cars. A true blue 400 Pontiac motor with forged internals. A newly rebuilt Dyers 6-71 supercharger with dual Holley Dominator carbs topped with a BDS Hilborn type scoop. A 4 speed transmission with a Hurst shifter, Front power disc brakes, power steering, 10 bolt 3:90 to 1 rear gears. Not a ladder bar, and not a four link but a narrowed rear chassis so it rides as smooth as a street car, the custom built back seats are still useable as well as the trunk. The sumped gas tank emptied by an electric Holley blue fuel pump has been sectioned and left in the stock location. Mini tubbed to accept 29" X 15 X 18.50 Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires. The subframes have been connected with 2" X 3" subframe connectors and traction bars added as well. Hooker Super Competition Jet hot coated headers with Flowmaster Delta 2 mufflers and 3 inch dumps. Cobra CB radio with antenna. Am/FM cassette player with amps and EQ in the trunk. Holley blue pump, Russell 1/2" teflon braided fuel lines with a Russell fuel regulator and all Russell connections. All Auto Meter gauges, shift light, Chrome roll bar with attached race harnesses, MSD billet distributor, MSD 6AL spark control and coil, Be Cool radiator with twin thermostatically controlled fans, Optima battery, T/A rear differential cover, custom bult LED sequential tail lights. Optima red top battery, Autometer shift light, This list can go on and on. Car is in excellent shape. I have had this car for many, many carefree years and have dominated at any car show I pull in to. Kids and adults love it alike. Be prepared to stop, talk and let crowds of people take pictures any time that you park and videos made as you drive down the highway. I just had a brand new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and bearings replaced. Just replaced the battery with a new Optima battery. Tested the rest of the electrical charging system and charger and everything is 100 percent perfect. The sun visors slide around so I would replace those, the speedo cable broke and needs replacing. I feel that this is a $60-$70,000 show car all day but with the few small tasks left to perform, There is no way that you could duplicate the craftsmanship and quality of parts in this car again for this kind of money. This whip is a trophy magnet !! Please visit YouTube and search "360Rocket" to see many videos of this car in action! Will consider trades for 1970 Pontiac GTO, late 60's/early 70's big block Corvettes or late model Z06 or 427 Convertible Corvette. AND PLEASE, ENOUGH WITH THE CONSIGNMENT CALLS! THE ANSWER IS NO! https://youtu.be/vNlD1HdePoU On Jun-21-15 at 15:32:22 PDT, seller added the following information: C'mon gang, $32K buys this car today!!! Its the best money you'll ever spend on a trouble free car. My family has met thousands of people, made hundreds of new friends and hopefully inspired even hundreds of young people to love the car hobby as much as we do.
