If you are looking for a Met to restore, or hot rod, this is the one for you. The previous owner searched for a rust free body and frame in order to have the right platform for a high level restoration. The only slight bit of rust on this car is on the surface. Floors, trunk, battery box, doors, and rockers are solid as a rock. A large portion of the floor and trunk still show the original paint. The vehicle has been disassembled for restoration. The 1500cc 4 cylinder engine, 3-speed transmission and the rear end are still in place. The engine has been rebuilt and has not yet been started. I have all of the parts that came off of this car with the exception of the radio. All of the glass is also in place, and only the windshield needs replacing. This is a 1959 model which means that it has the desirable trunk lid, wind wing windows, and larger 1500cc engine. The expense of rebuilding the engine is already done. All this for only $2500.Should you be interested in building a hot rod, I would be willing to cut the price as low as $1500 depending on which parts you do not want or need. I wouldn't mind keeping that new engine. Car has a clean California title and is currently in non-op status. I do not answer texts.
