1960 Nash Metropolitan**Click To Enlarge** Contact: Jesse Solomon Phone: 954-682-4673 Year: 1960 Make: Metropolitan Model: Nash Miles: 49,788 Vin: E69162 Color: Black WE OFFER FINANCING!! Based on 10% down with good credit. 60 Months $238 Pr/Mo Description: This is a very rare vehicle to find, especially in this condition. The Metropolitan is a good thing in a small package. Getting behind the wheel of this car you are rewarded with a 0–60 miles per hour acceleration time of nearly 30 seconds. The Met is reasonably light at approximately 1800 pounds, but that weight is squared off against 42 horsepower. Interior: The all black vinyl seats with white vinyl tops set a very classic style. The interior is in fantastic condition. The dash is simple with a factory speedometer and just below an aftermarket temperature gauge to ensure the engine is at safe operating temperature. Exterior: The all black exterior gives the car a beautiful shine. The original chrome Nash hubcaps contrast well with the deep black paint. The red M in the center of the hubcaps is a cool bit of flair and matches the red vinyl striping along the side of the car. The paint is in good condition and shines up well. There are a few nicks here an there which is to be expected of a car this age. Drivetrain: The inline 4 cylinder is a work of art. Producing 42 horsepower it gets this car cruising. Let’s just say it’s in no rush. The power is transferred through a 3 speed manual transmission on the column. The engine runs smooth with no smoke or unusual noises. The transmission shifts smooth throughout all three gears. Two cars, The red and white one is all together but the gas tank is out. Was going to get the tank cleaned out and the black and white one has parts taken off but have all the parts to the car except for the wiring I removed. Was going to put on all new harnesses. The red and white on runs when the tank is on but it does smoke some. The head of the red and white one was machined and all new parts on it. The cars are sold as is. They were going to be my next rebuild project until Ihurt my back at work and was declared not able to work anymore. I'm selling both for 2500.00. I wont break up the pair. I want them gone and that's why I'm only asking 2500.00 for the pair but I wont go any lower. I want them gone but don't have to sell so I won't budge on the price.
