Normal 0 Selling my 600+hp Evolution 8 Hey guys, I have to get rid of some toys, so little by little I will start posting these bad boy cars up fs. I bought this evo from texas sometime Jan of last year, stock. Since then I put in some work to it and it is what it is today. NOT trying to make a profit out of this, just simply want room for other cars, I’m the type of person who gets really board of cars fast, and after I build them and have my fun with them, I past them on to the next person to enjoy. I love to built cars and that is my business and passion. First off, the chassis has 169k miles, the tranny and t-case are from evo9 with very low miles. The engine was built last year and driven very little (id say maybe at most 2k miles since). I pulled the engine due to having high miles and complete redid the whole setup. Nothing was wrong with the engine when removed, I just wanted to build it to support more hp reliably. So, the build went on, I installed CP forged piston, 264 cams, refreshed the complete bottom end with all new bearings etc. Then came the turbo, I wasn’t going to do all that and then put stock stuff back on, instead I switched to T3 style manifold and installed a t3t4 GT35 JB, since I hated flashing of factory ecus, I went with a AEM EMS full stand alone ECU, that way I have FULL control of EVERYTHING and can do pretty much anything I want it to do. Then, from there it got carried away, Here’s a list of what the car has, GT35 turbo t3/t4 Godspeed big tube t3/t4 turbo manifold Comectic MLS head gasket BC 264s camshafts New Mitsubishi timing belt New water pump Machine surfaced head Cylinder block honed Engine block decked ARP head studs New front/rear main seals All new lower and upper gaskets CP forged piston set Factory 4g63 resized rods New STD ACL rod and main bearings Polished crankshaft Walbro 400 fuel pump Fic1800cc fuel injectors AEM EMS stand alone system GM 3bar map sensor Custom intercooler piping with RFL blow off valve Upgraded front mount intercooler (small dent on bottom, don’t affect anything) New OE radiator Battery relocated kit to trunk Full adjustable damper coilovers suspension Spec HD clutch kit Aftermarket fans (on push, one pull) SS turbo oil line E85 switch over Full E85 AEM street tune Manual boost controller Seibon carbon fiber hood Custom 4 bolt 3 inch down pipe Greddy Racing Full Titanium Catback Exhaust (paid retarded $$$$ for this) Brembo aftermarket drill and slotted rotors all around Aftermarket Brembo brake pads 45mm Turbosmart replica wastegate New belt New oem valves Greddy turbo timer Nissan R33 GTR factory wheels Carbon fiber wing Aftermarket blk taillights Aem Wideband Autometer boost gauge Autometer oil temp gauge Im sure ive forgot stuff here and there. But on top of my head that’s all I can remember. Keep in mind this car is very fast and should not be bought for your 16 year old son as a first car for safety reasons. The car is originally light blue (evo8 blue), I had it repainted evo9 blue, I hate the looks of the “cute” light evo8 blue, it just doesn’t look good to me. So yeah, I redid the whole car. Like any used car, this car has it’s flaws as well, Driver seat is starting to fall apart Climate control is missing heat/cool knob Door power locks only work for diver side (all windows work) Pass side window will not open all the way down unless helped going down, going up no problem. Sunroof does not work, off track? All 4 wheels needs to be replaced, they’re plenty of threads left but the belts are broken inside from old owner leaving too much air in them while wheels were being stored. (holds air but is very off balanced) Minus all the little nick nack problems, the car drives great, no grinds in trans, no overheating, no oil burning etc. This car was built to handle and take down most streetcars it encounters. With a 5bar map sensor this car can make 700hp and run 9s. The car should have no problem running 10s as it sits. NOTE: if E85 is a problem in your area, I can always turn boost down to run pump gas and retune it for that octane if desired at no cost. Also, I would highly recommend NOT driving this car far until you replaced the tires, as it can become a major safety factor. GUYS, PLEASE PLEASE make sure you have funds available before bidding or buying, I don’t have time to kick around. Thank you for looking, and if you have any question feel free to contact me. I will make videos of the car soon and relink it here. Check out my other listing for other cars of interest. Thanks for looking. UPDATE: Since I don’t drive this car anymore I have decided to switch it back to 91 pump, reason being is, The main one, the car is awful hard to start in the mornings, im talking about super hard to start when weather gets below 30’s, but if temps are around 50s the car starts no problem on E85. I’ve limited boost to 15psi on 91 to be safe. The car is NOT “WOT” tuned on 91. I just adjusted to composite from E85 back to pump so I can drive it and not have starting problems. With the E85 tuned map loaded back in and E85 back in the car, it will again due what it was built to do “30psi 600+hp” it’s that easy. If you don’t know anything about E85, it becomes a nightmare to start when it’s cold, it’s just a Ethanol thing. Google it “E85 hard to start when cold”, you’ll see what I mean lol. OH, before I forget and incase people get worried, about the picture of the ecu on the pass lower carpet, the only way to plug into the serial port into the AEM is to have the AEM ecu out from its original location due to the AEM being a little longer and bigger than the factory ecm, But it does not stay and sit like that, it fits and slides nicely up where the OE ecu was, I just had it pulled out to connect to it when I was switching the car back over to pump gas, and that was the time I took these pictures as well. I didn't want anyone to think the AEM just lays down there lol.Clean, clear, no lien title in my name. Again, questions?? ASK.
