1979 MG MGB Roadster See Video: Up for sale is a beautiful 1979 MG MGB Roadster with original milage of 44,130. This was a Mecum Auction car! This Car drives exceptionally well, you can take it to the car shows & for weekend cruises. Definitely gets a lot of attention & questions at the cars and coffee. The MG is powered by it’s 1.8 Liter engine, It moves pretty quick! It has a 4 speed manual transmission. Engine Bay is well detailed. Has a nice exhaust that sounds really nice. See the video. This is an original car meticulously kept by its previous owner. Previous owner had put the early MG-B appearance with original MG-B Chrome Bumpers, and a new top was put on. The Body is straight as an arrow. All doors, trunk, hood are all aligned like they should. It has always been garage kept and well taken care. All the exterior chromes are in great shape. The red paint is still high quality and has a nice mirror finish to it. The Interior is splendid and contrast well to the exterior red paint, black upholstery has been fitted, and tastefully done, and overall condition looks super nice. No tears on the seats. All the glass and chrome trim are very nice. Top folds up and down with no issues. Woodgrain shift knob. I’m located in Miami about 30 minutes away from the airport. MGB production started in May 1962 with VIN # GHN3/L/1 01 making this car Vin # GHN3L993 one of the first 900 MGBs out of 503,000 built. She has 60,287 miles on the odometer which we believe may be true based on the condition and the way the car drives. Body is straight and original alum hood. This is a very early pull handle MG all original gauges and switches, a new fuel tank, radiator, master brake and clutch cylinders. The car has new driver compartment floors and trunk floor. . The Leather interior has a wonderful patina and is in very good condition. All rusted areas have been replaced and the car has been undercoated. No bondo on the car.All very original.Have receipts for $10,000 invested , most of the work done by South Florida Motor sports
