Up for sale is my 1979 MGB Roadster that I have had for almost 35 years. It was purchased in 1982 with only 4,000 miles and has been leisurely used over the years with currently only 57,888 miles (Dial has never flipped these are original and actual). The car is mostly still stock and original with the original white paint. I took videos of the car being driven and also of the car itself. I tried to get as many photos and videos of all imperfections as possible so please look carefully. Due to someone may want to buy this car without being able to see it I tried to show all the flaws not hide them. 2 Videos at bottom of this description. Please view! The Good: Very clean well cared for car.Low miles with one owner for last 35 yearsIt is very mechanically sound, runs cool, shifts smooth and handles corners great Gauges all work and light upHorn, running lights, blinkers, headlights & break lights all workFront windshield recently replaced No chips or cracks on any of the glassWindows roll up and down easily and are in good conditionWindshield wipers work with newer wiper bladesOriginal car jack in trunk Original Tonneau Cover in excellent condition Original Top Boot in excellent condition The original 8 track radio by British Leyland Motors, Inc. M#BLM-10504 comes with car if desired. It was taken out of car many years ago but I still have it and will give with car if buyer desires it. It worked when it was taken out about 25 years ago and I will try and get it tested to be sure if desired. The black carpet is newer and is in excellent conditionNewer upholstery Has back jump seat with seat belt New tires and new spare installed from Discount Tire on 10/07/2016Great sound system installed with amp and two 10" subwoofersOriginal white paint jobNo rust under car! The Bad: Front passenger CV Boot is torn and will eventually need to be replacedI do have the original soft top frame but unfortunately the original soft top is in too poor of condition to be used (replacement soft-tops are readily available on eBay for under $250 or from Moss Motors for $319 if you desire the top)This is more good then bad but the paint job is the original white and shows typical dings, minor dents, scratches, nicks, chips and other imperfections typical with age and the fact it has never been repainted. Hood has some small dings on it. Hard to get in photos but I did the best I could and if your concerned I can take more in different lightsPassenger side mirror is missing the mirror/glass and thus not on car. Holder comes with car. Just needs new mirror/glass. It is not on car in photos but I do show photo of it. Has the screw to attach.Driver side glass (small corner piece) does not lock properlyOne of the rims is missing its beauty ring. You can remove the other 3 beauty rings so rims all look the same or you could easily find a replacement beauty ring if desired. No keys for the trunk, doors or glove box. Trunk has a dent where hook/stopper meets the trunk. This happened about 28 years ago when my uncle tried to slam the trunk shut without unlocking the release button. I do have a replacement trunk that will come with car if buyer desiresLeather gear shift cover has rip in it at bottom. Not very noticiable but is there - see pic Dash has hole for choke but is missing cap. It did not have a choke only a cap that covered the hole.Original cigarette lighter blows fuse but using a car charger does not so I am assuming it's the lighter that has the issue. Original lighter does come with car.Blinker & brights switch is a bit loose but does workFront speakers are missing beauty rings/coversBack seat has 2 very small tears. One on seat and one on backrest. Tears are glued shut with upholstery glue and not very noticiable I have really tried via photos and videos and in this list to show all the flaws and imperfections on this car and not hide anything from a potential buyer. If you want to see something you can't make out or have any questions at all please shoot me a message and I will re-video or photograph it close up for you. If you want to see the gauges while going faster than I went in the video just let me know and I will take it out and go on a higher speed road. Potential buyers are welcome and encouraged to come and test drive car and do a full inspection. Please buy this car with confidence for this car has a special place in my heart and I am selling due to it's just not practical for me to keep just to keep especially when I really need the room in my garage for my daily driver that is black and sits out in the Phoenix sun because this MG is kept inside :)

Eric Lee (480) 483-4682 15650 N Northsight Blvd Scottsdale Arizona 85260 ? ? ? ? 1937 MG TA Vehicle Information VIN: TA1217 Stock: 5776 Mileage: 1,609 Color: GreenMint/Biscuit Trans: Engine: MPG: Drivetrain: ? ? ? ? 1 of 78 ? View Large Images ? ? Description We are proud to present this 1937 MGTA! This beautiful example is finished in stunning Green over Mint exterior with biscuit full leather interior. This is a documented #s matching drivetrain example and we have had the privilege of maintaining it in our workshop. This magnificent 37' MGTA is fully restored and in close to #1 condition. It's likely better than it was when it rolled off the assembly line in 1937! Winner of multiple awards at regional car shows. Here's some facts about the MGTA's: The MG TA Midget replaced the PB in 1936. It was an evolution of the previous car and was 3 inches wider in its track at 45 inches and 7 inches longer in its wheelbase at 94 inches. The previous advanced overhead-cam inline-four engine was now not in use by any other production car so it was replaced by the MPJG OHV unit from the Wolseley 10 but with twin SU carburetors and modified camshaft. The engine displaced just 1292 cc, with a stroke of 4.0 in and a bore of 2.5 in and power output was 50 hp at 4,500 rpm. The four-speed manual gearbox now had synchromesh on the two top ratios and was connected to the engine by a cork-faced clutch running in oil. Unlike the PB, hydraulic brakes were fitted with 9-inch drums. Like the PB, most were two-seat open cars with a steel body on an ash frame. A bench-type seat was fitted with storage space behind. The T-type was capable of reaching almost 80 mph in standard tune. Just over 3,000 were made and in 1936 it cost £222 on the home market, the same as had been asked for the PB. When first introduced the model was known as the T Type and only after the advent of the TB did the TA designation come into use. If you want the best of the best then this stunning 1937 MGTA is it. You will find it very difficult to find another example comparable to this. “For the English car enthusiast it just doesn't get any better!” Please call Brighton Motorsports @ 480-483-4682 or email us [email protected] with questions. A Beautiful Red 1971 MGB Roadster with Black Interior. LOW RESERVE : Bid with confidence and if you have any questions, please email and ask. (I am using my new Ebay account to sell this car. For over 10 years I have used my wife's ebay account (ZASAKUNI) which you will see has 100% Positive feed back. ) This MGB is an excellent car with a lots of originality which you can drive as it is or with little TLC make it a high dollar car. I was intending to change the carpet, seat covers and door panels and sell for a lot more but decided to sell as is so that the new owner can get it at a good base price and then gradually make it perfect to his standards. Truly a very good investment as these chrome bumper cars are getting scarce and going up in value real fast. The only reason I am selling this is because I have another 1972 B as well which I have already restored and is my driver for the pleasant winter in Arizona. THE GOOD Runs and drives great. Very fast and strong. The paint is nice 7/10? The car was originally British Racing Green. Low miles (title and odometer shows 64000) Early Chrome Bumper British Sports Car Correct and original 4 cyl, 1800 cc (1.8 litre) , Dual Carburetor, 4 speed Manual, Rear Wheel Drive, Convertible Wire Wheels with good rubber. (I have a spare wheel but no tire on it.) This California car is very clean. Rust free with the exception of some surface rust under the carpet due to water retention under the carpet. The 4 speed manual transmission and the 1800 cc motor are original in excellent condition with perfect compression and oil pressure. The brakes and clutch work well and so does all the electrical. The dash is in very nice original condition. The chrome all around is original and good with no denting or rusting. Good glass all around. Doors , trunk, bonnet and all panels fit perfect. Full and Half Tonneau Covers - good condition. THE NOT SO GOOD, YET CONVEYS INTEGRITY & ORIGINALITY Upholstery is still the factory original. It is rare to find original upholstery and interior these days and hence I have not changed it to show the integrity of the car. The carpet too is original with correct mohair base but will need replacement. Original factory Soft top still on the car, never replaced. windshield to body weather strip is dried and will need replaced. Typical Surface rust under the carpet due to moisture retention. Shipping world wide at buyers expense. The buying price will be Ex Phoenix, Arizona Seller reserves the right to end the auction at anytime as the car is also advertised locally.

A Gorgeous restoration on a low mile Arizona Car. The car was originally purchased by its first owner who lived in El Paso Texas and handed over to his nephew living in Arizona. The car has gone through a comprehensive restoration at a cost of over $15000. I have all the receipts. This is a truly rust free car and has all original panels. The paint is a metallic green and the interior is brand new with velour upholstery. Please ask what ever details you need and I will respond efficiently.

1977 MGB Roadster!!! Here is an absolutely beautiful 1977 MGB roadster that is in nice condition and is rust free!!!! This gorgeous MGB seems to have been well kept since new and runs and drives awesome. Thousands of dollars have been spent on the engine which features a perfectly tuned weber carb that makes passing emissions easier as well a nice increase in power and drivability over the factory carb. This is not a restored car. This car is a great car to drive! This car has been well kept and it shows on the exterior, but really what makes this car special is how nice it drives! The engine starts right up and runs like a top, the transmissions shifts perfectly and YES all of the electrics and gauges are working on the car. The car is rust free and the car has been used as a driver and has been maintained really well. It has been treated to the previously mentioned upgraded carb, a performance exhaust manifold and exhaust which gives the car a little extra power and gives the car the classic british sports car sound. The interior is in nice condition and the seats are free of rips and tears and the dash is in virtually perfect condition as well! The convertible top is brand new and has just been replaced! This is not a perfect car but it is a nice car to drive and enjoy. I have owned probably almost 100 of these cars and this car is just a good looking good driving british sports car! The value of these cars have gone slightly up over the years and these can make a fun alternative investment. There are at over 100 hi quality pictures of this MG in this ad. Please let the ad load in its entirety before scrolling down. It may take a moment. Also, please do not hesitate to call me with any questions. 98% of my cars listed for sale will sell before the "end date" listed on eBay. This vehicle is a Buy it Now or Best Offer listing and can be purchased at anytime. This MG is located in Phoenix Arizona Call Justin at 602-339-2416 with questions or offers! Click to enlarge Exterior: This MGB looks fantastic in the rare and fun shade of Tahiti Blue. The car was repainted years ago and is holding up well. There are minor blemishes in the paint and areas that have been touched up with paint as well but overall the car presents nicely and is great for a fun weekend driver. The windshield is in nice shape and free of cracks and stars and the windshield frame has been polished as well giving it a very neat look. The rubber seals seem to be in nice shape. The convertible top is brand new and in excellent condition. The car comes with a 1/4 tonneau cover as well as a full tonneau cover! Overall the exterior is in excellent shape showing minor use since restoration with only a few touched up areas. Click to enlarge Interior: The classic black interior of this MG is in nice condition. The front seats are free of stains, rips and tears. When the seats were reupholstered in looks like the foam was replaced as well. > 1969 MGC Roadster!!! Here is a beautiful 1969 MGC GT that has had tens of thousands of dollars poured into it and it truly shows. This car is a great restored example of the relatively rare MGC Roadster. This car is 100% rust free car that was originally sold new in California!!! T The cars pans are incredibly rust free and the car looks to be accident free as well. This car has had a very nice restoration and has been driven and enjoyed, this is a GREAT driving car. This car according to the previous owners has only traveled 53k miles since new! The car was throughly gone throught featuring a bare metal paint job, new interior, rebuilt carbs, brakes, steering wheel, hydrolics etc... This car is in excellent running condition and is 100% turn key ready. The engine fires right up and the car has PLENTY of power coming from the large Austin 2912cc straight 6. This is a very smooth running engine with very crisp throttle response. The cars transmission shifts beautifully and the car is a blast to drive. The steering is nice and tight and the cars power brakes work very well. The body on this car is absolutely laser straight and the doors line up great. The cars underside is rust free, original and in excellent condition. One look under the hood, and you can see that this car has been lovingly cared for and given lots attention to detail. These cars are great cars to drive and enjoy either daily or just for fun on the weekends. They are beautiful to look at, rare to see (about 4400 built world wide over 3 years), easy and even fun to maintain due to there simplicity. This is a turn key MGC that is ready to be driven and enjoyed. This is a beautiful car that will surely make its new owner very happy! Why these cars are not as valuable or more valuable than a Austin Healey 3000 is beyond me. These cars have the same great engine, but C is built on a unibody which just rides and handles worlds better that a Healey 3000. The two don't even compare. There is so much more room, a significantly better ride and far fewer produced. One day the market will wake up to these great cars. As a side note, I have been looking for an MGC roadster for 10 years but struggled to find one that passed the muster. I will regret selling this truly great car! This is a buy it now or best offer listing. This car is availble for purchase at anytime. There is no advantage to waiting for the end of the listing to purchase the car. In fact, I would prefer a quick sale at a lower price than waiting for more money at the end of the listing. Please feel free to call and ask questions and make an offer! Call Justin at 602-339-2416 Click to enlarge Exterior: This beautiful MGC Roadster was recently the subject of a bare metal restoration and as you can see from the photos, it looks great. The body on the car is laser straight. All of the doors line up beautifully. The chrome bumpers on the car are like new and in excellent condition. Everything on the car lines up nicely and even the grill fits excellent. All of the lights and lenses on the car are in excellent condition as well. This car is 100% rust free and is free of floor patches etc... The car also appears to be accident free as well. The car is sitting on a beautiful new set of 15 inch chrome wheels and really complete the look of this beautiful british sports car. The car is absolutely stunning in its rare shade of blue and the car only suffers from minor blemishes. Much of the chrome is original and showing very well for its age. The bumpers are in beautiful condition and if you look at the rear bumper you will see an emblem from when it was in california! What a great little touch! The doors open and shut beautifully on the car as do the hood and trunk. The whole car just screams quality with the high level of detailing. The previous owner truly did a great job with this car. The beautiful grey top is in like new condition showing only very minor wear and absolutely no rips or tears. The top frame was even restored and is finished beautifully and opperates perfectly! Overall the exterior of the car is in excellent conditon! Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this MGC is in excellent condition and virtually like new! The interior was recently reupholstered featuring gray seats and looks great. The dash is very simple and straight forward with beautiful chrome lined Smiths gauges. All of the gauges are in excellent condition and are free from wondering and excessive bouncing. The area behind the seats was also carpeted making for a very nicely upholstered trunk compartment and also contains a removable speaker box. The modern stereo is nice because unlike most classic, you actually want to drive this car. The seats are so comfortable, the ride is very nice, the engine is powerful and sounds great, this is just a car that you look forward to driving! The steering wheel is a gorgeous motolita steering wheel which feels excellent in your hands and the factory steering wheel is included as well. All of the gauges and lights work. The dash is free of cracks etc... The trunk of the car has been carpeted and the car even comes with a 5th chrome wire wheel with matching michelin tire and factory jack!!! Overall, I would say that the interior is in excellent shape!!! Click to enlarge Engine: The 2912cc straight 6 engine starts up and runs like a top!!! One twist of the key is all it takes to start this car. The carbs have been rebuilt and tuned to perfection!!! The engine fires right up and blowns no smoke on start up or while driving. The car has great compression across all cylinders. This is by far the best sounding model that ever came off the Abingdon production line. The straight six really gives the MG the power and the sound on par with the other great sports cars of the time. The engine also has very strong oil pressure. The engine is fed by two SU carbs and really moves the car along quite well. This MGC runs nice and cool even in Arizonas sweltering heat. The engine bay is virtually clean enough to eat off of. The car was the subject of a bare metal engine out paint job and it was done by true professionals. The results are a show worthy engine bay. The level of detail in the engine bay speaks volumes to the quality of the car. The transmission shifts through all of the gears with ease and the clutch operates smoothingly as well!!! The shift linkage really has a postive feel to the gear change. The car rides, steers and stops GREAT! The car tracks beautifully down the road and the disc brakes are strong and stop this car with ease. Both the clutch and master cylinders were rebuilt at the time of restoration giving both great braking feel and clutch feel. The water pump and radiator were replaced as well. The car rides on a great looking set of original chrome wire wheels. This really is a great driving MGC that can be driven daily or just for fun on the weekends. The car is great fun to drive. Everything works, from the windshield wipers and all of the lights. These are great cars because they are very reliable and any part you might need is readily available and very inexpensive. This car however, shouldn't need anything for sometime! This car is absoultely turn key ready to enjoy! I can not express enough how nicely this car drives down the road and how much fun it is to drive! You will not be dissappointed! Click to enlarge This is a great looking 1969 MGC and it is absolutely beautiful and turn key. This beautiful British Sports car can be purchased for thousands of dollars less than what it took to build. These are truly rare british sports cars and are great fun to drive and will compliment anyones garage. All Reasonable Offers Considered I can help arrange shipping anywhere in the world and international buyers are welcome to enjoy this beautiful MGC . The first generation TA introduced hydraulic brakes, better suspension tuning, a reliable and responsive pushrod 4-cylinder engine and a 4-speed gearbox borrowed from the Morris 10. After the war, production resumed and so did the evolution of the T series. Each successive model of which was imported in large numbers to an American market with an appetite for European-style sports cars. The TF sweeping bodywork, optional wire wheels and an inline-4 rated at 63 HP. Like its predecessors, the TF offered responsive road manners and superior handling, perfect for the club racing that became so popular after the war. This 1954 MG TF roadster hails from a private collection in the Southwest and represents one of the most sought after models of the MG brand. It features stunning red paint with a lovely black interior and matching top, all nicely accented with chromed wire wheels. 1952 MG TD - Quality Restoration This was a total frame-off restoration with less than 200 miles since. Paint is a single stage Urethane (PPG Concept) Engine, Gearbox, Differential completely rebuilt. In addition to new bearings, gaskets etc, the gearbox got a new 1st/2nd gear sliding hub per Horst Schachs recommendation. Brakes completely rebuilt with new Cunifer lines and new hoses New Autosparks Electrical harness Underdash panel installed with original brackets (almost nobody bothers with this) Most chrome replated (some was too nice to replate) Small ding in the radiator shroud but not bad enough to cause a replate. The Coffin Rocker Cover and Finned Sideplate are authentic period accessories and not reproductions Turn signals installed with proper switch and wires included in the new harness (and they work) New Stayfast Top and Tonneau Sidecurtain frames restored but not covered New OEM Radiator Instruments rebuilt by MOMA. (They installed new odometer wheel, hence the low indicated miles) Before the speedometer was rebuilt, it showed about 62K miles. Given the condition of the car, that could of been the actual miles but no way to confirm. The starter was replaced with a new one from Moss. The original will go with the car. Looks good but was getting weak, probably rebuildable. Fuel pump was replaced with a new SU. Original will go with the car. The car had been stored in the dry desert climate for years. Absolutely no rust. The only wood that needed replacement were the floorboards ant the top tack strips. Entered it in one show and took first against 6 TDs Several excellent reference books go with the car Reason for selling - I'm old, dimensionally challenged, stiff, and I just don't fit so it doesn't get driven. Its a great car, don't think you'll find a nicer one and that includes the ones the dealers are asking $35K for. (My opinion, possibly some bias)

1978 MGB Convertible that I purchased in New Mexico and brought to Arizona. I used it as a daily driver when I worked in NM but with a 4 year old, have no use for it anymore. I'll list the pro's and con's:Pro's:Engine was rebuilt right before I bought it. It starts right up, even after sitting for a month here and there. Drives great, shifts smoothly between gears, suspension is solid. Body is fairly dent free and straight. Everything looks to be original, even has the standard Zenith carburetor. I had a new fuel pump installed. Glass is all good. Tires are fairly new, plenty of tread left. I've driven it in town, plenty of power, and I've had it on the highway buzzing at 80mph. Clean title. Con's:There are some gauges and wiring issues that need to be sorted out, by someone smarter than me. The tach works sometimes, the fuel gauge floats around. Speedo and odometer/trip meter work. The original clock still works, ticks away. Hazard lights work, but turn signals don't. I had the alternator rebuilt in ABQ but it's only showing 12.4 amps, and should be 14 or above. This is causing me to keep a trickle charge on it once a week. Paint is pretty chipped, see pics. Interior, while functional, needs work. Dash is cracked. The seats have a slip cover on them, comfortable enough. Needs a new top, the mechanics of the top go up and down just fine. Needs new carpet someday. All in all, this is a functional fun little convertible that needs mainly cosmetic work, mechanically it's pretty solid. Average price on Hagerty is around $8,750.00, but I know restoring a vehicle adds up, so I'm offering this at a fair price($2,800.00 OBO) for someone who wants a convertible 2 seater to buzz around in. There's also an all original 1978 CB400T Honda Hawk II in the background, also being listed on CG and Ebay. $2,200 OBO. Search for it.
